The gas fireplace is lit and the sectional wraps the room, with a large TV above it and recliners opposite. This is where everybody lands once the tasting rooms close: shoes off, fire on, and a bottle from the day finally opened properly.

The location is excellent, very close to Pioneer Park and Whitman College and you can bring your dog. Eldon was helpful and pleasant when we accidentally locked our selves out at the beginning of our stay.

When we booked this house there were not a lot of options left. It is a charming looking one bedroom cottage and despite the odd furniture in the pictures, the reviews convinced us it would be fine. The furniture was odd and uncomfortable, the bathroom was very small and the outdoor furniture was what you may have gathered together as a 19 year old. What I did like: updated air conditioning and walking distance to Whitman and downtown. Overall: we wouldn't rent this house again. I think some proper furniture would make a big difference. Honestly, it was the rave reviews that got us there and I wanted to provide some expectation management to future guests.

This little historic home was perfect for two people. The owners were very communicative and made our stay very easy. This home is old and small but the owners made it feel welcoming and cozy, complete with historical facts and even photos!

The house was perfect and fine for pets. Our dog liked the dog bed! It was set up well, temperature was easily controlled, bed was very comfortable. The "historic charm" atmosphere was fun! Eldon was easy to reach with any questions. We would definitely stay again at Adeline's Cottage.

Nice cottage in great location

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little cottage. It was spotlessly clean and you can’t beat the location. Walking distance to beautiful Pioneer Park and a just three minute drive to the buzzing downtown area.
