Place is amazing. We paid for a damaged comforter, we arranged pick up of the damaged item and cleaning crew threw it away.

It is disappointing to receive a 6/10 review based on linens that were damaged during the stay. While replacement of guest-damaged items is typically the guest’s responsibility, we still made every effort to accommodate retrieval of the sheets for the guests to keep as a courtesy. Unfortunately, before they could be set aside, they were discarded by our cleaning team and removed with the trash pickup.
We take great pride in communication and maintaining a clean, welcoming home for our guests, and we believe our property should be evaluated based on the quality, cleanliness, and overall experience provided during the stay. It is unfortunate that this isolated issue impacted the rating given and we hope future guests can see that.
Our stay was perfect. The cabin was adorable and well stocked; it was one of the special rentals that wasn’t all ikea furniture and had homey touches with lamps and rugs and plentiful kitchen utensils. The pictures do not do the views justice- it was far more beautiful in person. It was so quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was perfect and had a great view. The downstairs mattress was pretty firm, but the loft bed is a bit softer so you can pick your preference. The host communicated well and allowed us to check in early. Prepare for a dirt road drive for about 10 miles; this place is very remote but we had great cell service and the WiFi was great. They had a smart TV for evening viewing. The couch is soooo comfy. The freezer is small so plan accordingly. It was the exact kind of rental my husband and I were hoping for and the owners did a wonderful job of tending and caring for the house. We would love to stay again for the great space and great host.

About the host
Hosted by Bridget Fox-Lear
This was the first home my husband and I truly fell in love with and lived in full-time. As we prepare for our growing family, we’ve lovingly transitioned it into a vacation home so we can share the magic of this space with others. We absolutely love hosting and sharing this little slice of heaven. We’ve poured so much care and intention into making it feel warm, welcoming, and comfortable—so every guest feels right at home.
Why they chose this property
We chose this location for the serenity and seclusion it offers. Sitting on three private acres, the property feels completely removed from the noise of everyday life. From soaking in the hot tub at sunset to watching the sun rise over the mountains, it often feels like you have the entire landscape to yourself. Wildlife regularly passes through the yard, and at night the stars are truly unreal—some of the best stargazing we’ve ever experienced. (And northern lights if you are lucky)
What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is the rare combination of seclusion, thoughtful amenities, and design. Set on three private acres, the A-frame offers a true sense of escape while still providing modern comforts. Guests love the private hot tub and cold plunge, the fully fenced outdoor area that makes traveling with pets easy, and the peaceful privacy that makes it feel like you’re the only ones around. Inside, the home features two bedrooms with king beds, a cozy yet open layout, and a one-of-a-kind A-frame design that feels both inviting and special.
