Are you looking for that very special holiday rental with plenty of space for a large family, a multigenerational holiday, a girls’ getaway, or an inspiring guys’ trip? Then let our rooms at the Lodge am Ochsenweg holiday home put you in the mood for adventure and a holiday getaway.

The Lodge is centrally located in Husum on a one-way street. From here, you can walk to city centre Husum with its numerous restaurants, cafés, museums, and the idyllic harbour.

The holiday home has a total of five bedrooms spread across three floors, each with a directly adjoining bathroom. The very well-equipped kitchen on the lower floor is shared by our guests and features a dishwasher, two refrigerators, two stoves, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and much more.

Each bedroom features a flat-screen TV and a compact stereo system. We provide free Wi-Fi to our guests.

The idyllic and peaceful courtyard is partially covered and invites you to enjoy a cool drink in good company. This area is also shared by our guests.

The lodge is centrally located in Husum near the Schlosspark. From here, you can walk to city centre Husum with its numerous restaurants, cafés, museums, and idyllic harbour. The train station is also within easy walking distance.

The holiday home features five bedrooms spread across three floors, each with an en suite bathroom: 3 rooms with a comfortable double bed and 2 rooms that also include a sofa bed.

The very well-equipped kitchen on the lower floor features a dishwasher, two refrigerators, two stoves, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and much more. If the rooms are booked individually, the kitchen is available to all guests.
On the 2nd floor, there is a shared living room with a kitchenette.
Each bedroom and the living room are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a compact stereo system.
The idyllic and quiet courtyard is partially covered and invites you to enjoy a cool drink in good company.

Vielen Dank für Ihr offenes Feedback. Es tut uns leid, dass Ihr Aufenthalt durch mehrere Punkte beeinträchtigt wurde. Den Geruch im Treppenhaus nehmen wir ernst und werden prüfen, woran es gelegen hat und was wir hier verbessern können. Die steile Treppe ist baulich bedingt und leider nicht veränderbar. Auch auf die Krähen und den Straßenlärm haben wir nur begrenzten Einfluss. Wir bedauern dennoch, dass Sie sich dadurch gestört gefühlt haben.

Wir waren mit der gewählten Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Der Innenhof war sehr schön, um auch mal kleine Pausen einlegen zu können. Alles war so eingerichtet, dass es dem Gast gut geht. Alles prima abgestimmt, kann ich gerne weiteempfehlen. Allerdings sollte man vielleicht beachten, dass die Treppen zu den oberen Zimmern schon eine kleine Hürde sein kann. Sie ist sehr ausgetreten, die Stufen sind unterschiedlich, teilweise eng beim herabgehen und schlecht zu sehen, auch bei Licht. Auch zur Küche die Treppe ist sehr steil und ebenfalls teilweise nicht richtig einsehbar durch die Farbgebung.

Die Lodge am Oxenweg hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Buchung, Schlüsselübergabe und -abgabe funktionieren völlig komplikationslos, für Radreisende steht eine geräumige, ehemalige Stallung zur Verfügung. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es (in Zimmer 4) sehr leise und wir haben sehr gut in einem großen Bett mit guter Matratze schlafen können. Es gibt im Haus eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben.

Super freundlich am Telefon, wäre für mich sogar über die angegebene Zeit noch erreichbar gewesen wenn etwas beim self-checkin nicht geklappt hätte. Komplett sauber und ordentlich die Wohnung, die Gemeinschaftsküche auch wirklich schön, groß und aufgeräumt. Auch die Kühlschränke waren frisch gereinigt.

Von außen eher ein unscheinbares Gebäude. Nach dem Öffnen der Haustüre nimmt die große aus urigem Holz gearbeitete Holztreppe den Blick ein. Nach dem Öffnen der Zimmertüren kommt einem unweigerlich ein "aaaahhh, schön !" über die Lippen, denn auf die Innengestaltung der Wohnräume ist man nicht vorbereitet. Wunderbar großzügig mit schönen Holzböden und heller Ausstattung an den Wänden ist es ein sehr schöner Landhaus Charme mit Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. Ein Traum ist auch die Küche im Keller. Urig und Modern im Mix, in der nichts fehlt, wenn man sich selbst versorgen und selber kochen möchte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier absolut und wir werden diese Location gerne weiterempfehlen.

Das Parken an der Unterkunft war nicht möglich, obwohl ausgeschrieben. Viel zu eng, selbst für einen Kleinwagen. Der Wagen musste, was zum Glück ging, ca. 200m beim Einkaufsladen abgestellt werden. Das W-LAN funktionierte nicht, nach Rückfrage gab es keinen, wie versprochen, Rückruf mehr.

Auch wenn ich hier nur für eine Nacht war, hatte ich nicht mit so einer guten und sauberen Vollausstattung gerechnet. Der Service mit der Schlüsselübergabe angefangen, sowie Handtuch- und Bettwäsche war einfach überzeugend. Gerne werde ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Husum wieder hier hin kommen.
