We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary’s place. It has a beautiful deck with plenty of room for everyone to relax and chat. The quiet location on the canal provides water views and easy access to kayaking and paddle boarding. We explored Oxnard, Ventura, and Santa Barbara. We are glad we took a chance on this location.

We loved this house!It was very clean, new, and well maintained. Everything was perfect and exactly as described. The host was extremely kind and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to come back next time and highly recommend this place!

This home was the prefect place to retreat after a fun round of golf in Ventura county. We stayed a few days and got to take advantage of its wonderful location (right on the channels with a gorgeous deck overlooking the waters). Home was great, roomy and layout on first floor was great for just hanging out. Plenty of parking on the street and the amenities that the home had was great. We got to paddle board and kayak. Perfect setting for a staycation. Our host Mary was amazing and so responsive.

Wonderful experience! Just returned from a long weekend with my mother, adult children, and infant granddaughter. The location was perfect! Close to market, restaurants, beaches and parks. The home is family friendly and has a beautiful view of the channel. Wonderful breeze blows through the house and we all enjoyed the lights on the water at night around the fire it was magical! We had 6 adults and the baby and were comfortable. Mary was very responsive and accommodating with early check in and offered a late check out as well. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to go back.

What a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Our party of 7 adults were all very comfortable. We had plenty of room to spread out and also hang out together. Large dining room table and comfy well kept furniture throughout. The back deck was our favorite spot. Plenty of seating and the best view of all the boats, seals, ducks and kind people waving as they went by on kayaks and paddleboards. We took full advantage of all the walking paths and the beautiful scenery. Everything we needed was just minutes away. Our host Mary was speedy quick with her responses. Any questions I had were answered quickly and she was kind enough to recommend some great restaurants. Id highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home

We have visited Oxnard several times over the past 10 years. We usually stay on the beach and decided to try a house on the harbor. The home was wonderful and in a great location. It's a great option for families looking for relaxing place to stay. Close beach, Oxnard's big city park, and on the water for kayaking.

What a beautiful home on the water. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the inside. Once outside on the great deck, we could relax on the chairs and watch all the sea life and activities going by.

H Jay- I’m sorry you didn’t have a 10/10 experience at the property. We did notice damages to the property after your stay to a brand new dresser. We have inspection reports and pictures before and after each stay. And I believe that fact that I brought that to your attention is what you based your review on, and not the property itself. Based on my experience of renting this home to you and your family. I would not recommend you as a guest to future home renters. Also- VRBO did not allow me to address Sundra’s review- who brought pets to the property without disclosing or paying for them and used bed linens that were destroyed to pick up pet feces and urine. Vrbo booked through Expedia and did not give me the opportunity to reply to that stay.
