Highly appreciate you valueing our efforts in keeping the house always clean and guest ready. Thank you for being a responsible and clean guest! Look forward to hosting you again!
The guy was hard to get a hold of when the power went out in HIS HOUSE only. The VRBO agent had to have PROOF but didn't have the software for a android phone. We had to move one night into another unit that wasn't ready until 10 PM.The unit we did rent had AC only in the bedrooms. Does anyone ever look at the properties before they allow them to list?I have used other properties of yours and they were fine. I don't think I ask too much. The last unit I rented, the power went out and the owner was there in a few minutes to turn on the generator. This guy (Binghamton) argued with me about the power being out all over town. We made a video of the surrounding homes with their lights on.I don't think he is a good VRBO person, maybe a monthly or yearly rental

Again sorry for a broef power outage whoch was fixed within a couple of hours and before midnight the same day. This property and its host has multiple excellent reviews, including from returning guests! There must be a reason many other guests like their stays and decide to stay again.
Another property your were immediately offerred to stay also continuuosly received best reviews. This 2 bedroom unit is now equipped with 3 ACs and additional vents, including on the porch. We continuuosly invest out time and money to keep the premises super clean, fully supplied, safe and cool.

The description sounded perfect - a single family home in Binghamton that allowed pets! I was looking forward to a relaxing week to take advantage of things in the listing such as a back yard, gazebo, child’s play area and garage. Note – the host has now removed much of this language after I questioned it and the condition of the exterior left much to be desired. For the record, the interior was clean and had the basic amenities that were listed. But things like the debris in the side & back yards and on the roof did not make for a safe place to hang out. If you do want to use the yard, bring your own lawn chairs. One bedroom listed had only an 18” entry door which is not a legal egress. Multiple appliances in the kitchen are plugged into a surge protector but there is no GFCI outlet. You can’t enjoy the view out the kitchen window because it is covered with a cafeteria tray since the kitchen backs to a covered porch that is not accessible to guests. Both entry doors are in poor condition with peeling paint and a loose door frame. The keys for these doors can be duplicated so I guess you have to trust that no prior guest will make a copy. I have included some photos to contrast with the awesome photos that the host has listed. I had booked for 5 nights but I walked away within a few hours of arrival. This is the first time that a vrbo property has left me feeling very uncomfortable and unsafe.

This review is full of false expectations and exaggerations.
All safety and security measures and devices are present, functional, and checked, including fire, co2, smoke, alarms, fire extinguishers, exterior security cameras, door locks including 2 openings and visible only from the inside. No guest of any age or group composition ever felt unsafe at the property and instead enjoyed their stay in an exceptionally clean, fully supplied, and equipped house!
A garden is only mentioned in vrbo’ title as “Lawn & Garden”. Our description never mentioned a garden and stated only “lawn on the sides of the house”.
Outdoor furniture was removed because of the heavy storms.
The garage and back porch containing hosting supplies, etc are locked and mentioned in the description as not accessible.
According to vrbo the guest had no prior stays or reviews, according to the guest they stayed many times…Our house rules prohibit local stays; this guest apparently owns a property locally, showed up briefly for 20 min (not hours) at the end of the 2nd day and came up with the list of the “issues” no other guest ever mentioned before
Vrbo needs to remove this review.
