This place has a lot of potential but it has not been kept up. I feel bad writing a poor review, but the place really was in need of a good clean. It was quite dirty when we arrived - heavy layer of dust under the beds and in the closets as well as on the ceiling fan. There were big cobwebs in the bathroom. The rooms were quite small and one of them did not have a window which was made worse by a broken temperature gauge. One of the sliding deck doors was broken so we weren't able to close it for the week. As well, the couches are in dire need of replacement. The hot tub was great! We had a great week but would not stay at Powder Paradise again.
Hot tub was devine, views were gorgeous, would definitely recommend.

New Year Eve ski vacation
Location was truly ski-in | ski-out. The cabin fit well 3 families and the kitchen had most of the basic needs for cooking. First night we had to vacuum and wash all the bed sheets as they were not cleaned.

Powder Paradise Indeed
Everything was wonderful. Hot tub was sparkly clean, bathrooms and beds clean, under beds…not so much. Lots of parking and a garage to use. Kitchen has appropriate cookware for large groups…a large pot for soup and a large electric griddle were appreciated! Not enough toilet paper!!! 6 rolls for 10 people for 2 nights is not enough.
This beautiful chalet offers a classic mountain feel with excellent ski-out access and a lovely, lighted walking path to the village. The home is well-suited for groups, featuring a high-end kitchen, a dining table that comfortably fits ten, and thoughtful touches like three fridges and a brand-new BBQ. The views are stunning, and the two-sided fireplace creates a wonderful atmosphere, though you must provide your own firewood.Unfortunately, our stay was marred by poor maintenance and management. The driveway was a sheet of ice and the main entrance was completely blocked by snow upon arrival. Despite multiple requests, the path was never cleared, forcing us to use the garage or track snow through a basement bedroom. Management (Vacasa) told us it was our responsibility to buy salt and sand, which was a major safety concern for our elderly mother and family member on crutches. We also experienced several unannounced visits from hot tub staff who entered without knocking.Inside, the home needed a deeper clean as the ceiling fans and beams were very dusty. Potential guests should note that the bunk beds are smaller than standard twins (not suitable for teens/adults) and one bedroom layout partially blocks the bathroom door. While the house itself is gorgeous with a great laundry room and layout, the lack of basic property maintenance and "do-it-yourself" service from management was disappointing for a premium rental.

Hot tub didn't work. Internet would not connect. TV would not connect to the Telus provider. No firewood upon our arrival and the fireplace ashes were all over the hearth. Two of the beds were not made. Dust bunnies under the beds. Floors dirty. No bedside lamps in the bedrooms to read by - only overhead lights with the switch by the door. No lamps in the living area and the overhead lights did not provide light enough to read while sitting on the couch. The toilets were dirty at the back of the seats. The toilet bowl brushes were brown with you know what! You could not "Ski in and Ski out" as there are no paths to the trails, you need to go the road and the snow was melted. Perhaps at some time of the year you can ski down the road, but not now. The kitchen did have a decent supply of cooking pots, plates, cutlery etc. The garage made a great space to wax skiis and the room at the entrance was a good staging area for our ski clothes. The property manager was available made apologies for all the problems, however, that couldn't made up for all the inadequacies and disappointment we experienced.

Thank you for your review, Janice, we regret to hear that your time with us was less than satisfactory. We apologize that your experience in our home was not the vacation for which you had planned and for which we strive to provide our guests. Please know that the comfort and satisfaction of our guests is our priority and the experience you had is certainly not commonplace, nor is it indicative of our level of service. We sincerely hope the compensation you've received has helped to alleviate some of the stress these issues caused. We hope to have the opportunity to truly impress you in the future.
The space of the place is great - lots of beds, bedrooms, huge living area, open kitchen - we loved the space aspect. The issues: VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS. Almost all the beds had very uncomfortable mattresses (springy, saggy, seemed extremely old). One bed had a frame+mattress that was so noisy upon the smallest movement that no one could sleep in it. One of the bunk beds had rungs that were not secured properly (very unsafe!) and the pull out couch mattress seemed utterly ancient (I get it - pull out couches are not comfortable, but they can be OK if some investment is made). In my opinion, after taxes and fees the nightly rate we ended up paying justifies more comfortable beds.
One of the rooms also had a bed largely blocking the entrance to the walk-in-closet (which connects to the bathroom). If anyone had mobility issues or was on the larger side it wouldn't have worked for them.
The place looked clean upon arrival, but then it became clear it was superficial. There was garbage (old cans and filters) beside the hot tub, broken glass at the garage entrance, a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fan, dust on the base boards, and garbage under the pull out couch.
Overall, I think the space and the location are great. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/trays/etc. Having the hot tub on the deck was very nice. The place has potential, but an upgrade on mattresses and a deep clean are needed to justify the price.

Filthy
The house itself is aesthetically beautiful, however, the visual appeal of the house is the only validation for the 2 stars given. Upon arrival, all seemed well- the place LOOKED clean and the host graciously checked in on us via text message.
However, upon further inspection, the neglect of care became apparent. There were dust bunnies (& a lost sock) under the couches and beds, mold in 2/3 of the showers, rust in the grill, and broken lightbulbs. On the first night, the host was responsive and apologized. They also mentioned that they would be "reaching out soon to resolve this concern". We have now checked out and have yet to hear a resolution. As we continued our stay, we encountered BED BUGS- all 13 of us have bites on our legs consistent with bed bug symptoms and I managed to capture a picture of one on the couch, which unfortunately, the host did not acknowledge.
Photographs were taken and sent for the issues encountered. Unfortunately, the host seemed to be superficial and did not care about the issues that arose. I will update this review if a resolution is offered, but until then, we are quite unhappy with the lack of care from Vacasa.
Although the house and its views are beautiful (and convenient I'm sure in the winter months), I would not recommend this stay. CLEANLINESS & RESPONSIVENESS SHOULD BE A PRIORITY FOR HOSTS. Thank you.

5 bedrooms accommodated our group perfectly. Loved the wood fireplace, spacious living room, well equipped kitchen. Hot tub in the sun after a ski day is perfect.
We had a great few days as a family. The hot tub on the front deck was the best part watching the sunrises and sunsets. The walk back was a little much for little ones but we just threw everyone in the back of the truck

Great amount of space for our families and for our pets. Reno’s weren’t quite done but I’m sure it’ll be even more lovely when they are. Not much sound proofing throughout would be the biggest detriment but other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Great spot
The home was absolutely wonderful. It was spacious and a treat to be able to stay there. It was close to the village and easy to find. Home was clean in arrival with plenty of linens in hand. We really appreciated the separate tub towels as well. Would love to come back in the future.
