We loved our time in Berlin. The apartment was exactly right for my daughter and me. Transportation to various areas of Berlin was easy and convenient. There were so many delightful restaurants in the area, and our hosts made helpful recommendations. Highly recommend for one or two people!

Great gem in Berlin

The hosts were so kind and helpful. Felt very welcomed into their home. Room was perfect - clean and simple. Very secure and safe. Great location, close to train but also many things within walking distance. Highly recommend. A wonderful stay. Cant say enough positive comments.

West Berlin room with separate bathroom

my son and I were in Berlin fore 2 nights to watch a Euro football game. Dorothee's room was quiet and had a lovely view. Transport links are excellent and it is walking distance to KuDamm. Dorothee and her partner were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 3 nights while running the Berlin Marathon. Communication from Dorothee was excellent and her son Julian provided perfect directions from the airport to the apartment when Ianded and was there to welcome me when I arrived.when The room served the purpose as a place to sleep and a base to explore Berlin- basic but ideal. The neighbourhood has good restaurants, excellent transport links and was very safe to walk around at night and explore. The hosts also provided me with good places to eat. All in all a pleasant stay and I would happily reccomend this accomodation as somewhere to base yourself for a trip to Berlin.

Nice place, and a few thoughts ...

The place is simple. You will appreciate the central location. It is quiet despite its proximity to Ku'damm, etc. The host is great, communicates effectively. The place - essentially a mid-sized room and an adjacent bath, for which you have to cross a small hallway, has a coffee maker and a small fridge, but that's it. Making anything other than coffee is essentially impossible, meaning all meals will have to take elsewhere. While cooking anything in there can't be the goal. a minor rearrangement of the place could yield more comforts for the traveler. The oversized wardrobe strikes as a waste of space given other needs. A small shelf, a couple of plates, bowls, etc (e.g. for cereal, etc) would be more practical. A small TV would also add to the quality of stay. What I would strongly suggest is a different bed. A low-lying futon is not for many under 25 years old. I am saying all of the above not to be overly critical, but perhaps to suggest minor, inexpensive changes that would double the usefulness of the accommodation. Thanks for being a great host!

Zu zweit 6 Tage in Berlin

6 Tage Berlin aus einer sehr zentralen, ruhig gelegenen Homebase erlebt. U-Bahn und Bus 4 Min entfernt, S-Bahn 10 min. Das Zimmer wirkt auf den Bilder größer, ist für 2 Personen zum Übernachten völlig ausreichend. Wunderschönes Bad, alles sehr sauber, die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und unkompliziert. In Laufnähe viele schöne Restaurants und Cafés. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Berlin. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die beiden Herren Rüdiger und sein Kollege buchten das Zimmer, ohne die Beschreibung zu lesen. Dort ist ein Fernseher nicht aufgeführt. Außerdem meinte er, er habe zwei Zimmer gebucht. Ist so auch nicht beschrieben. Es war eine überaus komische Buchung, Seine Kommunikation schlecht. Das Zimmer war für ihn vorbereitet und er entschied sich mit seinem Kollegen in ein Hotel zu gehen, weil sie beide für ein Bett zu korpulent sind. Ich kann nur empfehlen, wenn er bei Ihnen buchen sollte, fragen Sie ihn, ob er die Beschreibung gelesen hat, sonst geht diese Buchung nach hinten los! Ich kann ihn absolut nicht empfehlen, unzuverlässig und unverschämt.
