About the host
Hosted by .Vu Duong
I’m a U.S. Army veteran and a frequent traveler who has stayed in short‑term rentals across the country and around the world. Those experiences shaped the way I host today—I focus on comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful details that make a stay feel easy and welcoming.
This home also carries a special legacy. Before I became its next caretaker, it belonged to Joe and Jean, a couple who poured years of love, intention, and creativity into the property. Joe dreamed of creating a warm retreat where people could gather, restore classic cars, and enjoy the simple joys of life. Even though his full vision wasn’t completed, the spirit behind it still lives in the land and the home.
My goal is to honor that legacy while offering a peaceful, comfortable stay for today’s travelers.

Why they chose this property
I chose this location because it offers a rare blend of quiet surroundings and incredible convenience. The home is just minutes from Spokane International Airport, making it ideal for early flights, late arrivals, or short layovers. It’s also a quick drive to Northern Quest Casino, Fairchild Air Force Base, and several everyday amenities.
The neighborhood has a calm, low‑key feel. Neighbors are respectful and tend to keep to themselves, and the area stays peaceful throughout the year. It’s the kind of place where you can step outside, take a breath, and feel removed from the busier parts of town—while still being close to everything you need.

What makes this property unique
What makes this property truly unique is the blend of legacy, character, and location.
Joe and Jean lived here for many years, and their care is still felt throughout the home and the land. This isn’t a rushed flip or a generic rental — it’s a place with history, intention, and heart. We’ve continued their work by restoring the property, maintaining the grounds, and updating the home to meet the needs of modern travelers.
Inside, the layout is practical and comfortable, featuring two king beds, fast Wi‑Fi, keyless entry, and a fully stocked kitchen. Outside, the setting reflects the quiet charm of the neighborhood and the peaceful feel of the acreage — a space that invites you to slow down and breathe.
And of course, the location is exceptional. The home sits very close to Spokane International Airport, yet remains tucked away enough to stay calm and restful. It’s a place where guests can land, unwind, and feel grounded.
