Two screened in porches provide ample opportunity for enjoyment of the outdoors in the spring, summer, and fall months. Spend your morning sipping coffee or reading a book on one of these spectacular screened in porches, or sunbath on the upstairs panoramic deck.

Walk out onto the dock and enjoy a swim or take the double kayak available on the property, or rent your own kayaks nearby. The outdoor space is also available for your enjoyment, including a gas bbq. Beach gear is provided for your use at any of the local beaches, including the nearby Sand Bar State Park, just a couple of miles away.

Cook at home in the fully appointed kitchen, or venture out onto the Lake Champlain islands to try some of the tasty island cuisine offered at many of the local restaurants and food trucks (in the summer months). Stop by Hero's Welcome in North Hero for some amazing sandwiches and local crafts and souvenirs. Use The Hive in South Hero for your home base if you want to venture to Burlington which is only 25 minutes away by car or other parts of Vermont during your stay. The Hive is about 35 miles from the Canadian border and about 85 miles from downtown Montreal.

If you are looking for a place to call home away from home that is simply in a league of its own, look no further. The Hive is ideally suited for families or groups of no more than 6 people. Like many homes in this area, this home operates on a septic system so it is incredibly important not to overload with more than 6 people at one time.

Please note, the home is situated at the base of a 50 foot gravel driveway which is at a 70 degree angle. There is plenty of parking for two cars, but it is highly recommended you have AWD or park at the top of the driveway and walk down the driveway.
