Light-filled modern farm-style home in large fynbos garden with natural pool, spacious living area, oversized patio and firepit. Mesmerizing mountain views, from early morning golden dust to sunset hues and midnight blues. Wake to the sound of birds. Huddle next to the fire pit and listen to the whisper of the evening breeze, the midnight call of owls in the old Oak trees and chirpy frogs in the silver streams.

Nestled on the slopes of the Helderberg (mountains) in the quiet green suburbs of Somerset West in the Cape Winelands, you will be conveniently located near shops, excellent restaurants, award-winning Stellenbosch wine estates, world renowned golf courses, powdery beaches, mountain hikes and scenic drives.

The light-filled open-plan living area has exposed beams and a reed ceiling with glass doors which open onto the over-sized front patio with exquisite mountain views. The patio has sofas and a table with benches for al fresco dining. The open plan kitchen has all modern conveniences, including a DeLonghi coffee machine, gas top stove, air fryer and micro; and the separate scullery has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.

The main bedroom has a queen-sized XL bed, a large built-in cupboard and glass doors opening onto a private shaded garden. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and free-standing wardrobe. The third room has exquisite views of the mountains and has a large desk, daybed and wardrobe – suitable for a dedicated office space, a reading room or a bedroom for a child.

There is a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet; a guess toilet with basin; as well as an exquisite outside shower in the fynbos garden with mountain views.

Enjoy an evening under the African sky at the firepit with BBQ facilities. All tools provided.

The house has fast fiber internet. All bedding and towels are provided, as well as soap, a bag of firewood and welcome coffee, tea, milk and sugar. Weekly cleaning services are included for stays of 7+ nights. Additional cleaning and private laundry services can be arranged at a fee.

There is ample shaded off-street parking under the old Oak trees.

You will be completely private and have the entire house, garden and pool to yourself - except for the inquisitive squirrels! I stay on the property in a separate cottage with my own private entrance and garden, a WhatsApp/call away should you have questions or need assistance.
