About the host
Hosted by Grace Sampson
Host creating comfortable, thoughtfully designed spaces where guests can truly feel at home.
Hosting is both a responsibility and a passion for me. My family and I have lived in each home we share, and I’ve intentionally designed every space to feel comfortable, functional, and welcoming for guests. I care deeply about creating a stay that feels reliable, peaceful, and genuinely “at home.”
I also enjoy interior design, event planning, traveling, reading, art, DIY projects and the outdoors!
Why they chose this property
What I love about this neighborhood is how it gives you the best of both worlds. You’re close enough to DC to easily sneak into the city for a day trip or a night out, yet far enough away to truly enjoy a quiet, residential feel. There’s a park within walking distance, convenient grocery stores with easy parking, and a calm, neighborhood atmosphere that makes it feel comfortable and livable—not just busy.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property especially unique is that it was truly our home. It was the first home we bought as a married couple, and the place where we brought our first baby home. So many memories and moments are woven into these walls, and that history is part of why we’ve cared for and designed the space so intentionally.
