Why they chose this property

I chose the Rib Mountain area because the second you drive through it, it just feels peaceful. I loved the idea of being surrounded by trees, wildlife, and beautiful scenery while still being only a few minutes from everything in Wausau. Being near Rib Mountain State Park and Granite Peak Ski Area makes it feel like a true getaway, and I wanted to create a warm, cozy space where people could slow down, make memories, and feel completely at home the moment they arrive.

What makes this property unique

What makes this property so unique is the feeling you get when you’re here, it’s peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature, but still close to everything you’d want to do in Wausau. The home sits in one of the most scenic areas near Rib Mountain State Park, giving guests space to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors right from the property itself. I’ve also put a lot of care into creating an experience that feels warm and welcoming rather than just “a place to stay,” so whether guests are here for skiing, hiking, family time, or a quiet weekend away, it feels personal and memorable.
