Summer vacations

This was our first stay at the Emerald Grande, but it will definitely not be our last. Everything was perfect for my family, and the property is located in the heart of the Boardwalk District. Food, music, entertainment, fishing - this property is perfect for the family. The Beach Shuttle and Beach Service were always impeccable and made our stay super enjoyable.

Room was exactly as advertised, although not as clean as I would have liked. There were some stains on the carpet, kitchen cabinet handles were sticky, and dust bunnies.

Great location with outrageous fees.

The fees on this property were outrageous. What we spent on the nightly rate doubled in cost because of fees. The oven didnt work right and they did not have a blender. When we tried to get a hold of property for early chrck in our call was not returned. Location was great.

Unit needs a major update

The unit is incredibly outdated. The HVAC was difficult to keep steady - it was either freezing or burning up in the unit. The fridge made constant buzzing noises and at one point switched the fridge unit (on its own) to freezing and froze all the liquids inside. The stovetop was incredibly difficult to use because the degree of heat (high-med-low) etc was not visible - all the labels are all worn off. Just in general, it all needs updating. Also, very few kitchen goods - missing pots and pans and various other things you usually expect to have. The unit was VERY WELL-CLEANED, which was a positive.

FIRE VACASA!

Worst experience EVER with resolving reservation issue that VACASA, its system and employees, manage data input - FAILURE! 4 phone calls, 3 text messages attempting to right my reservation set on Dec. 25, 2022 for my May 4-8 2023 stay - no changes on my end, ever, for the requested stay. 4 months to correct and my family and I get the shaft. Issue was resolved through the wonderful folks at Emerald Grande - NOT VACASA!!!! I made contact and provided my email traffic as evidence. VACASA IS an abject failure as a company!
