Good stay!

Small details like having a vacuum, mop, plunger, pizza cutter, hot pads would have made this near perfect! The pool water needed more attention of being cleaned, otherwise it was clean. It was easy to get to/from beach. And the view is perfection!

Great location-nice beach view

Floors were a bit dirty, lots of hair on floor around the edges of the room. No sheets for the pull out bed until the third night. The room and some if the property had a very musty smell. The room was a good size, great location. Very close to the beach.

Nice location to beach but needs a few more things in condo.

Good location to beach, bare necessities, no hot pads, kitchen towels, 2 small containers of shampoo and soap, door knobs loose, laundry door broken. Needs updating but clean

Disappointing

We have stayed in this unit 4 years in a row and the last 2 times it has been very disappointing. This past visit has definitely changed where we will stay next year. The condo is great, location and veiw is perfect however the cleanliness is awful. The floors were so dirty that within minutes of check in my grandbaby’s feet and hands were black as tar. I had to wipe down counters and fridge due to sticky and tried to sweep up sand without a dustpan. I’m not sure why renters have such an expensive cleaning fee is the unit is far from clean. I think we have given this particular unit enough chances to improve and guess it’s time for us to move on elsewhere.

Felt like I was at home

I really enjoyed my stay. I went for the week of New Year’s Eve to relax for my bday (which is on New Year’s Eve). Absolutely loved the conveniently short walk to the white sandy beach, and also enjoyed using the indoor pool later after sunset when the kids still had energy to keep swimming. The view from the balcony was AWESOME. Overall the condo was just what I was expecting. I appreciated the fact that they provide dish soap, new sealed dish sponge and extra trash bags, lots of condos I’ve stayed at expect you to buy your own. There were plenty of towels, dishwasher soap, some laundry detergent that allowed me two loads and of course soap, shampoo and conditioner. The mattress in the room was comfy and the kids enjoyed sleeping on the bunk beds. I loved that the sofa turned into a bed because we would pull it out to watch movies at night. Only negative thing is that the tv in living room was a little small but I have an 85inch at home so maybe it was just me and also the internet and tv signal did not work in the room. But other than that I would definitely stay here again and I definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Nice condo, but issues

This condo is clean and overall nice, but there were a few issues with the building. Every time water was used in our unit or the unit above us the pipes squealed like a balloon deflating. It was very difficult to get use to and made falling asleep hard. Another issue was the deadbolt on the door was missing the actual bolt and there was no chain. They had been removed. All I could think about was how many people had the code to get into our unit while we slept. The only lock on the door was the exterior code lock. I asked others at the pool and they said their bolt was removed so it must be a building policy. The lack of security was concerning for me. They are also building a giant high-rise beside this building and it was loud at the pool at some points. All of these issues are really out of the owners hands, but should be known before booking. The condo it self was nice and clean. The bed and sheet quality could be improved, but it wasn't awful. The building is on the first floor, but not the first level an elevator ride is still required.

Lack of space and attention to detail make this condo the pits.

Although the property was lovely at first glance and was indeed on the Gulf, the location was terrible. There were no nice places to eat and shop within walking distance. The road the condo was on was extremely busy and dangerous making it very difficult to access the building. The condo was not well appointed and we were extremely disappointed. There were no beach towels or any items to use on the beach. The TV in the unit was very small, my computer monitor is larger!! In the evenings when it was cool it would have been nice to wrap up in a blanket and watch the NCAA tournament but the TV was too small to enjoy the games and there were no throws or blankets in the unit. There was a real lack of pots and pans and it would have been a nice gesture if maybe some coffee pods were left for at least the first day for the Kuerig. The one bedroom was extremely small with a full size bed, not a queen and was lacking a 2nd nightstand. There was no thought to storage in such a small space. There was a lack of towel racks on the back of doors and no hangers in the closet, so we could not even hang our clothes. Although there were sheets for the pull out sofa there were no additional blankets or throws anywhere in the condo. The lack of attention to detail was surely disappointing. With all the inventory in the area we were extremely disappointed in our choice. We loved the Gulf Coast area but would not stay at Tidewater #105 again. Very disappointing.
