Take the whole family away for a peaceful vacation in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains at this cozy, mountain-themed home complete with a wood fireplace, well-appointed deck, private outdoor hot tub, and back yard perfect for the kids or up to two dogs for a small nightly fee.

This two-bedroom rental is located less than a mile from the heart of Idyllwild-Pine Cove for shopping, dining, galleries, and spas. Idyllwild also plays host to the International Festival of Cinema held every January as well as the Stratford Players theatre group known for award-winning productions and staged readings throughout the year. Please note that a 4x4 is required to get to and from this area during the winter months. This home also has an electric car charging outlet, but guests must bring their own charging cable.

Tastefully blending rustic elements like hardwood floors and knotty pine ceilings along with modern amenities, this rental is a warm and welcoming home away from home. Step through the front door of your rental into the living room, with its high ceiling, rock-faced wood-burning fireplace, and plush furniture. It's the perfect place to kick back with a good book or channel surf on the cable TV.

Belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar and enjoy snacks, coffee, or meals prepared in the full kitchen. Everything was ready to go and clean when we showed up. Loved the quiet location, but still close to the main town center. The beds were comfortable, as we have stayed at some places that the mattress is rock hard. The only thing that I would recommend is better wi-fi service, as it is slow, which makes it hard or next to impossible to stream movies.

Need to update sofa, no support and uncomfortable. Need to replace Rokus (inexpensive (streaming stick is 29.99) and the ones in there are old, couldn’t do some of the streaming services because model was too old). No supplies/firewood/ provided, bring your own. Hot tub was nice addition. Comfortable and roomy overall. Fireplace is really nice. Big deck and front yard space. Vacasa communicated frequently.

Charming inside and out

Lilacs, daffodils and a dusting of snow on the pines welcomed us to the Crow's Nest cabin. The location is perfect--less than 10 minutes from popular trails, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the eclectic decor, small functional kitchen, comfy beds and beautiful views from the windows and deck.

Review:I had a lovely stay at this peaceful, dog-friendly mountain retreat. The home was cozy, well-appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The front yard was beautifully landscaped, and the deck created the perfect space for outdoor relaxation. Although the weather didn’t allow me to enjoy the hot tub, I still had a wonderful time. I would definitely love to visit again!

Great weekend get away!

We loved this little cabin in the mountains - we enjoyed the location - less than 1/2 mile from restaurants and little shops. The hot tub was great too. It got cool at night so we used the fireplace to stay a little warmer. The place is very clean and nice , but the master bath shower could use some love - it’s a little moldy. We definitely would stay here again.
