This cozy home provided everything our party of five needed for a fun and relaxing vacation. The location is next door to Fausto’s which really comes in handy. The back porch plunge pool and grill were perfect. Glad we invested in a rental golf cart and the small parking spot was the perfect size. We loved it. We hope to rent again!

Overall the property was good. We had 4 couples in our group so we definitely maximized the space, but we didn’t feel overcrowded since we all had our own space. Great location. The backyard oasis is adorable. Parking for a vehicle was convenient. Quick response from host. The decor is nice and the house is very quaint. A/C kept rooms cool! Hot showers! Housekeeping was adequate but there was what seemed to be mildew or mold around the window upstairs that looks to be coming from a broken window that leaves exposure to outdoor elements. The a/c window unit leaked in the living room which we didn’t realize until after our luggage was soaked. The house definitely needs some repairs. The entryway into the main bedroom downstairs has extremely soft floor and broken tiles which makes it difficult to go in and out of the room. If the repairs were completed, I’d definitely stay here again!

Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, backyard, parking, comfortable A/C, and the character of the home. It sounds like the house worked well for your group of eight, and we’re especially happy that everyone was able to have their own space while still enjoying the home together. We also appreciate you pointing out the areas that need attention. We’re actively working through these repairs because we want the home to be in the best possible condition for our guests. The A/C leak affecting your luggage was not something we were aware of during your stay. We certainly would have wanted to know about that as soon as it happened so we could investigate and address it promptly. Likewise, we always encourage guests to let us know about anything that needs attention while they’re with us. We care about you having a positive experience. We truly appreciate your positive comments and your willingness to stay with us again. We look forward to continuing to make improvements and hopefully welcoming you back to Key West in the future!

Loved staying here during our trip to Key West. Perfect location! Easy access to Duval; great cafes and bars all with a block; grocery stores right across. The backyard is a little private oasis where you can cool off and relax after a day of island adventures. VHKW was super responsive whenever anything came up that needed attention. If you visit be sure to say hi for us to Joe and Eileen, the resident iguanas. They love collard greens and spinach.

Location was GREAT! Outside area is nice. Upstairs bathroom the “shower” is in a claw foot tub with storage space for bath items. One bedroom downstairs the shower sprays out of the shower. Kitchen was well stocked! Had no issues at all with room AC’s. House is equipped with plenty of fans as well. Over all the property is good just needs a little updating.
