Absolutely perfect location! Walking distance to the waterfront as well as amazing shops and dining. The property was immaculate, and had everything you’d need.
Great stay, property manager was very accommodating and allowed me to check in early. Room was clean and as represented in the photos. My room was in the front of the building, so there was some road noise, but I did not have an issue with it. Great location downtown!
It’s a good location and nice, clean, great walking distance from all the restaurants and such. So many lovely historic places near by made me wish we were in a place with a bit more character. But It was very good.
We added a stay and the host was very responsive and kind throughout stay.Good for a short stay. Positive notes: Great location, Clean, bottled drinks offered in the main entrance, certain personal extras offered in a guest closet. With that said, small room, if you’re on the bottom level, you can hear the people upstairs walking around and you can also hear the traffic outside. Maybe ask for upper floor.
Great spot to stay. The entire process was so easy. The room is clean, stocked well and they even have a “guest closet” on the property in case you’ve forgotten something, or need something extra. Thoughtful with leaving cold water and coffee/tea available as well. Property management was quick to respond when we had a random fire alarm, and even had someone onsite quickly to check things over after the fire department declared it a false alarm. Would absolutely stay again.
Very nice room, ice machine and water in the lobby. Only two things that I did not like was that you had to move the coffee maker to reach and outlet (unless I overlooked an outlet) and we came in one night and most of the hall lights were turned off. Just turned on my phone flashlight and it was fine; it was just a little odd.
Great location, very nice accommodations, but you can definitely hear your neighbors. Fire alarm went off and not having a manager in site prolonged the disruption.
Place was just as described! Very easy to find and easy check in process.
Space was very clean in all rooms. Right in the historic area so be sure to take some walks around the neighborhood. A few short blocks to downtown stores and restaurants.
We spent a couple nights in beautiful Beaufort SC at the Emerald House. The property is lovely and getting in and parking was all so easy. The room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Good for a couple for a short stay. We spent a lot of our time walking to sightseeing, dinner and shopping.
Room was exactly as described. It was super
clean with beautiful linens, coffee supplies, microwave, small refrigerator and great bathroom. The location is perfect - a quick walk to historic downtown. Bicycles are a nice added touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Great location. The room was ideal for us. Due to hurricane, internet was down, but telephonic communication was excellent. I would highly recommend the Emerald.
We walked to breakfast at Blackstone Cafe each morning. We pulled out of parking lot and drove straight across the bridge to Dockside Restaurant for dinner. We could have lunch and then go shopping in the afternoon and return to room to freshen up for the evening events just a short walk away. Convenient, stress free with the perfect location.
The room is in an excellent location. But The sheets had a stain on them, the door to the balcony had a thin sheet over it, which made it hard to sleep with the light from the street shining in all night and there were no chairs on the deck so we couldn’t sit out side. Over all the room was clean but the good coffee maker in the hall was out of order. It was a nice touch to have waters and a welcome bag of goodies and to have the closet of incidentals if we forgot something. I did send a message to the management before we arrived and asked if there was a toaster but never heard back from them. Overall it was ok.
I usually stay at a hotel a few blocks away. They were booked up so I tried a new place. The Emerald was similarly priced and a nicer room. Obviously no breakfast but that’s not something I usually use anyway
