Hi Mary, Thanks for your complementary review and great rating! We work very hard to make sure that our guests have a memorable experience in our home and are very happy that you had a great stay. My apologies about the floor. We have a typically excellent cleaning team working with my wife, and regularly receive compliments on how clean our home is. For some reason it appears that they vacuumed the floors of all sand and dirt and then neglected to mop them (which is our standard procedure). Regarding your comment about mentioning that we don't have air conditioning, prior to booking a property on VRBO you can view the 'Amenities' for that property that will specify whether there is air conditioning. Alternatively you can also search VRBO for properties that specifically have air conditioning. Similar to the vast majority of homes in Mission Bay, we do not have air conditioning. The temperatures near the water are generally mild and we find that there is no need for air conditioning. On the odd occasions when temperatures are unusually high due to a heat wave, we just open all the windows and let the cool ocean breeze waft through.
