The million-dollar view is absolutely real and by far the highlight of this property. Unfortunately, the house itself did not live up to the photos or the price. There were several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The pool table was torn and dirty, the rack above the stove was covered in grease, dust, and dead bugs, and the house had a strange odor when we arrived. The hot tub worked but was dirty, the pickleball court had significant damage, and the grill and propane tank were covered in grease. Many door screens were also missing, torn, or difficult to use.Surprisingly, there was no outdoor seating on the deck to enjoy the beautiful view. Inside, much of the furniture was uncomfortable, although the dining table was great for our group. The layout was also disappointing. One “bedroom” was essentially in the front-door entry area. We were traveling with two children and did not feel comfortable having one sleep there, so both ended up in the bunk area. The queen bunk mattresses were extremely soft.Check-in was frustrating. We received no instructions through Vrbo, called the listed number only to learn they didn’t manage the property, and then couldn’t reach the second number provided. Someone eventually came over and let us in.Beautiful view, but considering the cleanliness, maintenance, layout, check-in experience, and price, we would not stay here again or recommend it.
