This memorable house is the perfect home base for your trip to Kansas City. Guests will find two large rooms upstairs, featuring one king bed in the bedroom and a boneless pull-out sofa in the private upstairs living room. Downstairs you'll find living room with new, L-shaped sofa. Upstairs includes full private bathroom and needed toiletries. Downstairs, one bedroom with twin bed, other large room with Queen. This is a classic, Craftsman house which showcases the best of what KCK has to offer, with a beautiful view of the downtown skyline directly behind the house. I'm a nurse and, having grown up in Kansas, take pride in my region of the country. I'm also a yoga instructor and general athlete who recognizes the importance of maintaining a strong body for a quality life long-term.
Why they chose this property
KC's downtown skyline visible from behind the house, a jogging trail, Heathwood Park, is also 2 blocks from the house. This is an up and coming neighborhood with many hundred-year-old craftsman houses.
What makes this property unique
This 105-year-old house still has a solid foundation. Although boring, the limestone foundation is one of my favorite things about this house. Also includes front and back porches and two hammocks in the backyard. Colorful landscaping pending as the weather improves :)
