Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure that pet waste is picked up and thrown away.
Please check that the grill and firepit have been turned off, as well as the indoor oven/stove.
Pull the door closed, click the lock symbol on the keypad, and check that it locks behind you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances or activities anywhere inside or on the property.
Must complete rental agreement; requires all guests and ages to be listed (for safety purposes, in the event of an emergency).

I'm a NC native, though I have lived in other states (NJ, Ohio) during my lifetime. I'm a graduate of NC State University and am retired Procurement Manager for Nationwide Insurance. Married to Cindy for 34 years with three grown daughters. We are excited to host our first property and hope you will enjoy staying with us again and again.

The neighborhood is a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach.

What makes this property unique

We have invested much in this property and feel that it is a great place to make lifetime memories with family and friends.

There is a large sectional couch to hang out with each other in the evenings that includes a queen pull-out bed. A fully equipped kitchen, including a Keurig machine that also has drip coffee capability, gives you the option of making meals at home or ordering take out. There is seating for four at the kitchen island, and a kitchen table that can accommodate seven more.

We strive to make sure that you will have all that you need for your vacation, including the use of a beach wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys so that you don't have to bring all of these items with you. We also have an onsite crib, highchair, bathtub seat, and baby gate for those with infants/toddlers.

All bedrooms feature wall-mounted Amazon Fire TVs and YouTube TV for your entertainment enjoyment. There are also board games and reading material.

The front of the home has a private balcony with seating. It is a nice area to have coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine or cocktails in the evening.

For our furry guests, we have blankets specifically for pets, pet bowls, as well as a fenced back yard.

In the backyard, there are Adirondack chairs, a propane grill, and a propane firepit.
