Our host was a great communicator. He responded very quickly to any questions. The house has some beautiful hand made furniture and features that make it unique. Very nice kitchen and updated bathrooms. Great deck for enjoying nice evening or grilling on new outdoor grill. Close to town for restaurants or shopping. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the cleanliness. Which was caused by previous guest not following check out instructions. I would recommend this place if visiting the area.

The property exceeded our expectations! We were surprised but delighted to find a hot tub ready for soaking in out on the deck (not included in the original listing - brand new, perhaps?). Loved the large open plan space for cooking/eating/gathering and the dorm-like row of bedrooms. Lots of towels. Very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen included lots of spices, tea and coffee selections - pod-style machine AND a kettle for hot water. It was pretty perfect for what we needed as a group of 7 performers in town for a two-night engagement over the weekend. Option for late check out much appreciated. Will book again for next year's annual gig.For consideration: besides sending the code for the door, please include instructions on how to enter it (add the extra button). Also clarify which part of the house/which driveway to use. Needs regular table salt in the kitchen (we only found the large-lump sea salt).

I have spent ten years in Somerset and really enjoy the great food and restaurant options. Lake Cumberland is my favorite lake place to fish, boat, or ski! And there are many more beautiful places to visit around Somerset!
