The cabin was amazing! We had a great time with 4 adults and 6 kids.Plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen and living room to hang out in. Teenagers loved the Ping Pong/Pool table in basement. Had a tesla charger option that was great. Only thing I wish I knew was that the Cabin does not have AC. It has fans and heat but no AC. For our stay in June the day time was high 80's and nights said 60s. But with all windows and doors open the coolest we could get it inside was 77 at night and in the afternoon it was 81. Love to visit again when it is cooler. Is about 10 minutes from Bearizona, 45 minutes from the South Rim. Kids loved the Canyon Coaster, Pooziem, Frontier Barbeque & Beer Garden the littles panned for gems, played outside games. Great times!

Thank you for the kind words, Jayson! We are so happy that your group enjoyed the cabin and your trip. I'm glad the Tesla charger worked out great - I believe you might have been the first guest to use it!
I am truly sorry for the surprise with the summer temperatures. I had relied on VRBO’s amenity checklist to show that we don't have air conditioning, but I realize now that it isn't obvious enough to guests when booking. Thanks to your feedback, I have updated the listing text and house rules to explicitly state that we are a heating-only cabin so future summer guests can plan accordingly. We would love to host your family again during the cooler mountain months!
My family and I had an amazing stay at this cabin! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The cabin itself was spacious, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. The views were absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more special. We also loved the location, it provided a peaceful getaway among the pines while still being just a short drive from downtown Williams. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again in the future!

About the host
Hosted by Guy Ellis
I live in Scottsdale, Arizona with my wife and two children. As the kids have grown and become more busy with their lives our use of our getaway cabin has reduced which has allowed us to start sharing it with others. As a host, my highlight is hearing from the guests about how much they've enjoyed their stay. Each guest gets something different from it. I, personally, love the natural smell of the pine trees.
Why they chose this property
I love the proximity to the Grand Canyon and the natural smell of 1,000+ pine and juniper trees on our 10 acre property.
I've discovered that each guest loves something different.
Everyone loves the view.
Bird watchers are often surprised by the number of birds they see from the deck.
We sometimes have deer and elk on the property and you'll probably see evidence of them when walking around.
What makes this property unique
The house is on the side of a hill with magnificent views north toward the Grand Canyon.
