Red House #5, Unit B is a brand-new studio at Del Mar Dunes, built for small groups and families who want to be close to the water without giving up comfort or style. The vaulted shiplap ceilings make it feel wide open, the kitchenette keeps things easy, and the lake is right outside the door.
THE SPACE

The name “Del Mar” means “by the sea” — and standing at the shore of Lake Mille Lacs, you’ll understand why. One of Minnesota’s largest lakes, it’s right outside your door. Spend mornings fishing, afternoons kayaking or paddleboarding, and evenings watching the sun go down over the water. In winter, the lake transforms into one of the best ice fishing destinations in the state. Resort and public trails run through the property whenever you feel like stretching your legs.

Your Boat Club at Del Mar Dunes Marina (on-site) — Rent a boat right from the resort’s own marina, no membership required. Your Boat Club offers daily and multi-day rentals for fishing, tubing, cruising, and exploring the lake at your own pace. Just show up and go.

Fishing and Boating (5 min) — Garrison Sports offers guided launch boat fishing for groups of all sizes, and Tutt’s Bait and Tackle has kayak and boat rentals along with all the gear you’ll need on the water.

Hiking and Nature (14 min) — Kathio State Park is just down the road with hiking trails, historic sites, nature programs, cross-country skiing, and a 100-foot fire tower worth the climb.

Golfing (5 min) — Northwood Hills Golf Course is right in Garrison, with Ruttger’s Golf in Deerwood and Izaty’s in Onamia a short drive away.

No Parties or Events — Day visitors are welcome; we simply ask that you keep things respectful and avoid large gatherings that could disturb neighbors or cause damage.

Guest List — For everyone’s safety, only registered guests are permitted unless pre-approved.

Quiet Hours — Please keep it peaceful from 10 PM to 8 AM.

Pet-Friendly — Up to 2 well-behaved pets welcome at $100 per pet, per stay (second fee handled separately).

Pet Cleanup — Please tidy up after your pets inside and out. Extra mess may result in additional cleaning fees.
