Welcome to our Spanish hacienda, where spacious architecture meets refined comfort. This home offers a private, peaceful retreat. Expansive doors and windows frame an incredible view, bringing natural beauty into the heart of the home and enhancing the sense of serenity. Outside is your private oasis. The saltwater pool and soothing hot tub invite you to relax under the open sky and allows for lovely outdoor dining. The rooftop patio is a perfect setting for sunrise coffee or sunset beverages. Enjoy movie night in the library using a top of the line TV projector and a 100 inch drop down screen. The home offers streaming services for endless entertainment.
This Rolling Hills Retreat combines retro and modern tech. Don't be surprised to see a few automated shades drop and lighting changes after sunset. A nice feature however the ability of control is always with guests.
Quinta Refugio is a new VRBO listing so please check with host for any questions or comments from guests on other platforms.

I am a true local the the Santa Ynez Valley. My family settle in the small town of Santa Ynez in 1883. I was born and raised in this beautiful land and grew up with riding horses, raising sheep, hiking all the surrounding mountains, swimming in the lakes, small town celebrations, parades and community events. I am fortunate to have raised my own kids here making them 6th generation. There is not much that I don't know about the area and am happy to give recommendations for your stay. I love being able to share the uniqueness, beauty and magic of our special Valley.

Why they chose this property

The locals are casual, laid back and friendly. There is a slower pace to the Valley and we encourage you to relax, take your time and enjoy the scenery. Consider horseback riding, hiking, cycling, zip line, balloon rides or winery tours and brewery visits. Please be respectful to the locals, use the crosswalks in Solvang and always watch for cyclist on our country roads.
