Family Beach Week

House was perfect for our family beach week! We had 10 adults and an 8 month old. House had everything we needed and was lovely in every way. Sunsets were unmatched. We will book again!

Everything about this home is exquisite. We had such a lovely week. The interior is beautiful and spacious, the pool is perfect with a shallow area for kids and plenty of umbrellas for shade, and the views of the ocean and beach are amazing. We fell in love with Edisto and this home is an amazing retreat. ❤️

We stayed during storm as there was no mandatory evacuation, and in hindsight probably not the safest thing to do. But house withstood the storm with no issues, and while many areas were underwater, our garage never even got damp. Kitchen is well supplied and elevator was a huge asset when moving in and out and fir guests with mobility issues.Already booked for next year. The best shelling post-storm that we have ever had.

Perfect getaway for families

We have never been to Edisto and we’re in town for a family wedding. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about Ballentine cottage. The owners have created a little piece of heaven that provides everything you need for a weeks stay on the beach. The finishes are amazing and we utilized the pool and outside TV for most of the stay. My 71 year old mother appreciated the use of the elevator to get up and down floors. Amazing views!
