This property has a pool that can be heated between Labor Day and Memorial Day for an additional fee of $95/night. At least seven days' notice must be given for heat to be turned on. If the outside temperature is colder than 55 degrees, the pool may not be able to maintain a warmer temperature. If the pool does not reach your desired temperature but is still warming, refunds will not be given.

My family loved this home

I love how close it was to the beach and how roomy it was. The only drawback was the small pool which we barely used and the busy street, but it is close to everything in the rooms are ample.

Loved the location. Black mold was seen in several places and some things had not been kept up. The kitchen was very nice. The screened in porch was dark and musty.

Heritage week with the family

The location was great. The house is a good size. Chloe (Vacasa) was ver helpful. There was an issue getting the pool heated but a credit was issued. The upstairs a/c stopped working on day 3 and it was repaired/recharged by the end of the day. The service men said they were there a week earlier. The Condenser has a leak and needs to be replaced. It should have been repair correctly prior to being rented.

Perfect HHI Home!

This home was fantastic for our large family! Super clean, great living and bedroom spaces and a beautiful large kitchen to enjoy when we weren’t out to eat on the island. We loved the pool space and screened in porch and it was perfect that every bedroom had its own bathroom for our families and kids to utilize! Beach path access right from the fenced in backyard and a quick 2 minute walk down the path to the beach! If you love the beach, this particular beach access was not crowded at all in July and some days felt like it was our own private part of the beach! We had one minor appliance issue that was dealt with promptly and was handled appropriately and we appreciated that greatly so that we could enjoy this beautiful home and our vacation!

CLOSE TO THE BEACH. THATS IT.

This home had an attentive property manager because of the many issues we had at the onset. No heat, running toilets, hole in screens, unable to open ANY windows (handles removed), gas for outdoor fireplace (for only 3 days), dirty old pool furniture, chipped plates. House was in disarray. No laundry, dishwasher or soap cleaners. House was close to the beach so that was a plus.

The issue is with Vacasa

I am sorry to the owner for giving a poor review. The house itself is pretty good and the location within Sea Pines is outstanding. Vacasa is the worst rental manager on the island. They upcharged me for pool and “spa” heating separately. The pool was never heated and there is nothing that possibly could be counted as a spa, and certainly when they sold it to me it was understood that it was going to be a hot tub. It took more than a month of complaints to receive a portion of the $755 heating charge back. No explanations why the full amount wasn’t received. Further, it is impossible to get an in person meeting with them while on the island and extraordinarily difficult even to get a phone call from Vacasa. They choose to communicate via text and seemingly there is no consistency as to the individual you are communicating with. I vacation on Hilton Head every year. I would encourage the owner to find a new rental management company and I would encourage any viewer of this comment to seek a property with a company other than Vacasa.

Good Property/Abysmal Property Management

The actual home was ideally situated and set up very well for an enjoyable stay. It was an easy walk to the beach and had a decent pool when you wanted to cool off without taking a stroll. However, the place was not well maintained and the consequences reflected very poorly on the property manager. When we arrived the rVefrigerator was not working properly. We reported this immediately and were given advice such as let the unit "warm up"; it takes time to cool the food after the change in renters. Well, needless to say, having purchased a boatload of perishables this wasn't helpful. The manager said that they would look into the matter and send a repair person our way the following day, Sunday. Never happened. We secured our own repair person who fixed the problem removing the bottom grill and cleaning the coils, which were covered with years worth of dust and grime-something that speaks to the general level of cleanliness in the home. The drain in the en-suite bathroom shower associated with the master bedroom was plugged as well as both sinks. We managed to unclog those ourselves. In addition, there was a leak under the kitchen sink, which management had addressed by placing a large bucket under the pipes. When we contacted them about this they promised to send a plumber-he never showed, even though we personally visited the office and telephoned on numerous occasions. Our advice-do not rent a Vacaasa home.

BEWARE!!

Wow not sure where to start with this. I gave the residence a 2 and that was generous. The property was ok, and the location was awesome. Maintenance and cleanliness were the issue here. When we first arrived my wife does what most people do during Covid. First staying in a strange place…. wipe down and vacuum. Needless to say, counters and floors were dirty, and the vacuum had at least three different types of dog hair. That was not a deal killer. That came in the morning when were able see the residence and notice aspects of the property that should be clean but wasn’t for our expected arrival. For example, pool, carpet, and an open termite infestation on the window ledge. Along with a pest control issue. My wife noticed bugs and after further inspection it was a “Palmetto bugs” or for those of us commonly known as roaches per maintenance guy. It was cold so they were seeking shelter. I can’t make this stuff up. Call Vacasa and informed them of my current condition and a maintenance guy replied and stated someone will come over to handle the situation. Also, the manager of the property will contact me Monday Dec 26, 2022, to discuss my concerns. Unfortunately, no one fixed my concerns or responded to my request. But I did get this questionnaire, so I had to answer it as honestly as possible. I left the residence a day early for that’s not what I want my family around. But like I said, house was ok but maintenance was awful. Advised Vacasa that I was leaving early, and they said thanks for coming. At this point three days later still no contact. Beware!

Beautiful spacious home

The house is very spacious and adjacent to the walking and bike paths. The kitchen was well equipped with all the conveniences we needed even though we only cooked one night. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for big groups. I rated check-in a 2 star because they did not include the door entry code to the house in our email check-in. A rain delay with our flight caused us to get in very late and we called the emergency after hours number - we held for close to 20 minutes for someone to help us. The person helping us looked at our email instructions and confirmed they had indeed forgotten the door key code in our instructions. I will check this in the future from now on.
