Thank you for considering the Red Fig Farmhouse. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, cozy, and quaint farmhouse built in the 1940's. Lots of outside space to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book, or watch the many birds and squirrels.
The house is located just blocks from downtown, minutes from IH-35, approximately 2 miles from many restaurants, HEB, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Additionally, the house is approximately 2 miles from Texas Old Town. The house provides 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath and a shared kitchen and living space. There is an outdoor patio area near the driveway/parking area and a lovely covered front-porch with seating.
No pets are allowed on the property. If you require a service animal, please contact us in advance of booking.
Please park to the side of the house next to the stone patio. Orange cones and a parking sign will designate this area.
The clothes dryer is presently located outside of the house, in an outbuilding on the property. A key will be provided to access this outbuilding if the clothes dryer is needed. Access to this building is limited only for the use of the clothes dryer. Use of any other item located inside this outbuilding is prohibited.
Located at the back of the house are 3 large trash bins. Each bin is labeled (with a sticker) specifically for certain items that may be placed in them. One bin is for general household trash, another is for green waste, such as tree limbs, yard debris, etc, and the third bin is for recyclables, such as aluminum cans, plastic water bottles, cardboard, etc.
A charcoal grill is located on the premises. If using the outdoor grill, you must abide by the rules/restrictions set forth by the local Fire Marshall regarding outdoor burning. Please do not leave hot grill unattended. A water hose is nearby if needed. No charcoal or grilling utensils are provided.
