Had a wonderful weekend stay at this cute and cozy home! It was the perfect little getaway clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The hosts were fantastic with communication from start to finish and were incredibly responsive, even coming quickly to help us with the electric fireplace. Their hospitality really made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy escape! We hope to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake life.

Wonderful overnight stay in a clean, cozy little lake cabin! Great hosts and we will stay again! Lake vibe was great. If you don’t like to drink well water, simply bring some bottles with you although the hosts did have bottled water for us. The shower had good pressure and it is just perfect for a mini getaway provided your goal is chilling by the water with your feet up! Bars and restaurants are close if you don’t wish to cook and we met a lot of nice people when we were out and about! Thank you for the hospitality!

The best thing about this place is it is pet friendly.Maybe this place is new to renters but the lack of kitchen supplies forced us to buy them while there. I mean things you would expect; drinking glasses, mixing bowl, measuring cups. Nothing. Also the water in this rental is not fit for your pets. If you rent it be sure to bring a lot of bottled water. Another issue is the heat. They use a natural gas burning unit and it is not vented out of the house. We had to purchase a carbon monoxide detector just to be able to sleep there. The outside deck is very nice. It would be a better experience in the summer. We came early April for a funeral and it was cold. There were no helpful guides as how to operate the heat or television, where to eat or grocery shop. It is a cute place and wonderful that they allow you to bring pets.

The highest compliment I can give is I would stay there again.The cottage came with a very nice deck. We enjoyed the gas fire pit.Minor issues were dealt with by our host immediately.Conveniently located to restaurants and boat rentals. We stayed during the week and traffic was light and the neighborhood was quiet.

My husband and I also love to travel, and we’ve had so many incredible experiences staying in Airbnbs/VRBOs around the world. Those experiences inspired us to become hosts ourselves. We wanted to create a space where others could enjoy the beauty of Michigan lake life, while also having a place of our own to make memories with family and friends, especially spending time out on the water.

Hosting has been such a meaningful experience for us. It’s a way to share something we truly love, while also investing in something important to our family. We’re so happy to welcome guests and be a small part of their time away!

Our neighborhood truly captures the charm of rural Michigan. It has that classic small-town feel, where you see familiar faces, people look out for each other, and life moves at a more peaceful pace. At the same time, you get to enjoy the beauty of lake life - calm water, quiet mornings, and relaxing evenings by the lake.

What we love most is that it feels like a true getaway from the busyness of the city. It’s a place where you can slow down, unwind, and really take in the simple, peaceful moments that make being here so special.
