Lake front cottage with pontoon boat in Lake Lure

Welcome to The Enchanted Cottage on Lake Lure, a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house with some of the most incredible views anywhere on the lake! Our lakefront cottage comes with our pontoon boat (for a small additional fee), plus a pair of kayaks and a canoe.

Ride one of Lake Lure's famous funiculars down to the cottage and separate from the rest of the world. Our newly remodeled kitchen has everything you'll need, or ride the pontoon boat to one of the restaurants on the lake that have boat parking!

This stunning property provided the perfect backdrop for our summer getaway. The view can't be beat! The cottage had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and excellent layout for our group of 10. Renting the pontoon boat was the icing on the cake, allowing us to enjoy all that Lake Lure has to offer. Communication with the host was 10/10. We can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay at The Enchanted Cottage in Lake Lure! The host was extremely communicative and made everything easy from start to finish. The cottage was comfortable for four adults and had all the amenities we could have wanted. The funicular was such a great feature and made unpacking and moving luggage and groceries to the cottage so much easier! We especially enjoyed the foosball table - a family favorite! We also loved the convenient location, just a short drive from the grocery store, restaurants, Lake Lure Beach, and the Chimney Rock area. Everything we wanted to see and do was just a short drive or pontoon ride away.We had such a great time and would absolutely recommend The Enchanted Cottage to anyone visiting Lake Lure. We look forward to staying here again!

We had a family gathering from 82-8 years of age. Great spaces to accommodate every person. Loved the screened in porch which was comfortable so we spent a lot of time there. We rented the boat and enjoyed exploring and riding on the lake. Great food at the Lure House Restaurant which has boat docking. The younger family members spent a lot of time in the water, which was the clearest I’ve seen Lake Lure water. Bruce answered all of our questions plus gave excellent info for check in and being in the house. Overall, every person had a great time.

This was our fourth visit to the Enchanted Cottage at Lake Lure and as always we had a wonderful time. Breathtaking views of a beautiful mountain lake that has made a tremendous comeback after Hurricane Helene. The house is very comfortable and the owner Bruce is instantly available for any needs or questions. We love to take our friends and family and experience their first impressions of such a perfect vacation getaway. We’ll be planning another visit soon!

Our family had an absolute blast at this lake home. This was our first time visiting Lake Lure, but it won’t be our last. The views were absolutely breathtaking from the screened in porch, and the boat as we rode around the lake. We hope to visit again next summer!

This house is my wife's Happy Place, and the reason is clear. As you ride the electric tram (called a funicular) down to the house, you can almost feel the rest of the world drifting away, leaving you relaxed.
