About this property

Zeus's Retreat Cabin at Rend Lake

"Zeus's Retreat" is our most rustic Black Dog Cabin. It was named after our beloved Rottweiler Zeus Maximus, who we lost a few years ago to cancer. He was the best boy and would be so proud of his cabin. It is a 2-bedroom cabin 1/2 mile from Rend Lake Dam and the closest boat ramp. Inside, guests find a queen bedroom and a room with two twin beds, perfect for a small group or family. The spacious bathroom features a refreshing shower to start your day right. Starlink internet and Smart TVs, and an electric fireplace included for your enjoyment. Our outside space offers a fireplace with seating, charcoal grill, a picnic table with umbrella. We have plenty of boat parking space with a power source for overnight charging. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or stepping outside, the cabin offers a nice retreat from the everyday hustle. With comfortable spaces and a tremendous sense of calm, it’s an ideal spot to unwind. A great place to call homebase while you’re away, we hope you enjoy your stay. We can't wait to host you!

I absolutely loved our stay. We ended up having to extend and actually rented the two other cabins for family, as we were working on a project in Benton. Ginger was amazing to work with and her beautiful dog was the sweetest. I truly felt safe and well taken care of. 1000/10 recommend booking these cute clean perfectly decorated cabins!!!

This place was great, very clean, comfortable, easy check-in, with very friendly and responsive owners. There was plenty of room to park our boat, multiple vehicles, and easy access to outdoor plug-ins. There was no bath soap (bad assumption on my part) but this was only a minor inconvenience for what we got.

Rob, It was great meeting you and your Dad. It sounded like he really enjoyed the lake. Thanks for staying with us, we really appreciate your business. I considered the soap but decided against it. Everyone usually has a certain product they like better so I decided against it. It could still be a change for the future. Hope to see you and your Dad back for another adventure! Sincerely, Ginger & Don

We enjoyed our stay here and will put it on our list to stay again in the future. We had everything we needed. Communication was great the entire time. The water in the sinks for some reason was hotter than the shower water even when turned to full hot, so we stayed a little chilly in the shower the first night there. I asked Ginger the following morning if the water heater could be turned up and they took care of it right away. We had warm showers when we returned that night which was sooo very needed after a long day on our feet. Everything was clean. My favorite thing was that we had plenty of towels and washcloths for our stay which I feel so many rental houses lack. The location was nice and quiet. The couches were very comfortable. The decor is super cute. We didn’t utilize the general store on site, but it’s good to know it was there in case we needed anything. Thanks, Ginger!
