Sunset House is a designer 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home perched on a hillside in Twin Oaks Valley with sweeping views across the valley. The open-concept living area features a gourmet kitchen with a Zephyr range hood, custom geometric tile, reverse osmosis filtration, and a Nespresso machine. Two king bedrooms, both with spa-style bathrooms and smart mirrors. Outside: a private landscaped garden, outdoor dining for six, propane grill, foosball, ping pong, and a scenic overlook for morning coffee and sunsets.

A note on accessibility: Sunset House is perched on a hillside, which is part of what makes the views so stunning. The driveway is steep, and from the parking area it's about a 20-foot walk up to the entrance. Once inside, the home is two stories — one bedroom is on the ground level, the second is upstairs. If you or anyone in your group has mobility considerations, we want you to know upfront so you can plan accordingly.

Note: the lower-level pool on the property is not part of this rental.

My wife and I just stayed at this Vista VRBO and didn’t want to leave. The home is tucked into the hillside with mountain views that genuinely don’t get old — we spent half the trip just staring out the windows. The chef’s kitchen is open to the living space, so you’re taking in the view while you cook (Nespresso provided, which was a nice touch). The patio is a highlight on its own — perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset with panoramic mountain views. The bathrooms felt like a spa, easily on par with the high-end hotels we’ve stayed at. Check-in was seamless and the place was spotless. If you’re looking for a luxury getaway in Vista, book it.

Absolutely perfect stay.I stayed here for a quick work trip. Everything was flawless from the moment I arrived.The property was spotless, quiet, modern, and beautifully finished. There was absolutely no noise, which made it easy to relax, sleep well, and focus on work.Everything felt brand new. The air conditioning worked great, the design was modern, and the attention to detail really stood out. It felt like a true home away from home. I only needed to bring my suitcase.The bed was comfortable, the pillows were amazing, and everything had a luxurious feel. I also loved the soaking tub and the views. Those details made the stay feel much more special than a standard work trip.The location was perfect for my meetings. I was close to where I needed to be, and getting around was easy.Check-in was smooth, the property had everything I needed, and I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend.

This home offers a truly unique experience with its breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere—something that's hard to find in everyday life.Perched on a hillside, this spacious two-bedroom home provides plenty of privacy and room to relax.The panoramic view stretches all the way to the Pacific Ocean with nothing blocking the scenery. There's even a bathtub where you can soak while enjoying the incredible view.The interior is elegant, tasteful, and very calming. You can relax on the comfortable sofa indoors or unwind on the outdoor lounge. The kitchen is also well equipped, making it a great place to spend a relaxing day at home.If you have an EV, I recommend checking with the host in advance about charging options.The driveway is quite steep, which was an experience in itself—it reminded me of the steep hills in San Francisco! You may want to be a little careful when parking. I actually found it easier to let my car's automatic parking/driving assistance handle it.Overall, this is an exceptional place to stay. I highly recommend it!
