The view was spectacular, and that’s why we chose this rental. The interior is a bit dated, but we loved the nostalgic lake house feel. The private beach area was lovely and easy to access. Our only problem was check-in was a mess. We were not informed that the home was in a gated community, so that took a series of phone calls which resulted in the gate code. Once we were finally inside the gate, the address we were given was not found on GPS. With much trial and error and driving down what appeared to be a bike path, we found the house! The view and nice little backyard were worth the grief, but directions need to be much more clear for future renters.
