About this property

Charming 1-bedroom cabin on the Lake in Auburn perfect for kayaking, fishing

Birdsong | Wild Lakefront Sanctuary
Experience a romantic masterclass in coupling with nature. Set on 156 linear feet of private, wild shoreline on Lake Holm, this off-grid cabin is a masterfully designed "primitive escape." Whether you are here for a digital detox, a golf weekend, or the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this is your private sanctuary to unplug and reset.

The "Wild Relaxation" Experience
The Morning Ritual: Flow on your mat at the water’s edge as the morning mist rises and the "unbelievable" song of local birds begins.

Paddle & Fish: Launch our FREE aluminum canoe into the glassy water. Explore hidden coves or cast a line for trout in total silence. (Life vests provided in the closet).

The Nordic Cycle: Melt into the cedar heat of our Panoramic Wood-Fired Sauna ($200 fee), then reset with a bold Cold Plunge directly into the lake.

Purely Primitive: Reconnect with a simpler life. The cabin uses 12V battery power for lights and features a clean, eco-friendly outdoor restroom.

Local Flavors & Logistics
Bakery Delivery: We partner with a local Auburn artisan bakery. Order via the Airbnb/VRBO messenger from the menu on the table for Free Delivery to the cabin ($60 min order)

Proximity:

5 min to championship Golf.

10 min to Downtown Auburn.

15 min to SoundTransit.

35 min to Seattle Stadium (FIFA 2026).

Important Things to Note (The Off-Grid Lifestyle)
Water & Shower: There is currently no running water or shower facility. We provide a 5-gallon dispenser of fresh spring water for drinking and washing. We recommend the "Sauna-to-Lake" ritual for a wild, refreshing clean. (We are working on future water lines!).

Energy Conservation: To preserve the 12V battery, please turn off all interior lights when not in use.

Heating: A propane heater is provided. Please ensure the outdoor tank valve is open before use and always turn the heater switch OFF before departing.

Sauna Fees: $200 minimum rate (covers firewood/setup for 2 people). $60 per additional guest. Text host to book your session.

Interaction with Guests
We love giving our guests complete seclusion to enjoy the sounds of nature. We use self-check-in, but we are only a message away if you need help with the sauna or tips on where the fish are biting. We live nearby and can be on-site quickly if needed, but otherwise, the lakefront is yours.

Unplug. Breathe. Let the wild take over.

Hello I am Pavlo!
I have a beautiful property on the lake. I am enjoying on my property two years and decided to share of this point of energy with you guys:)

Why they chose this property

The Scene & What I Enjoy Most
What makes this neighborhood special is the profound silence. Lake Holm is a non-combustion motor lake, meaning you won’t hear jet skis or loud engines—only the sound of paddles hitting the water, the wind through the red cedars, and the "unbelievable" morning chorus of birds.

The scene is one of constant, quiet movement: morning mist rolling off the 19-acre lake, bald eagles hunting from the Douglas firs, and the soft glow of the sunset reflecting off the glass of the sauna. I enjoy the Nordic rhythm of life here—starting with yoga on the 156ft of wild shoreline, a quiet afternoon paddle, and ending with a wood-fired reset. It’s a community where "neighbors" are often the local wildlife.

Best Attractions in Auburn
While the cabin is a sanctuary, Auburn itself serves as the "Gateway to Mt. Rainier" and offers a mix of high-energy entertainment and historical charm:

Outdoor Adventure:

Flaming Geyser State Park: Just 7 miles away, perfect for hiking scenic trails, watching fall salmon runs, or river rafting.

Washington National Golf Course: A premier public course located just 5 minutes from the property.

Soos Creek Botanical Garden: A 22-acre hidden gem with stunning flower gardens and peaceful walking trails.

Entertainment & Culture:

White River Amphitheatre: A massive outdoor venue that hosts major global touring artists against a mountain backdrop.

Emerald Downs: A premier horse racing track that offers a fun, high-energy atmosphere during the racing season.

Muckleshoot Casino Resort: One of the largest gaming destinations in the state with top-tier dining and nightlife.

White River Valley Museum & Mary Olson Farm: To get a sense of the local heritage, these spots offer a charming look at the region’s railroad and Japanese-American history.

Shopping & Dining:

The Outlet Collection: A massive indoor outlet mall for those looking for a "city" day.
Downtown Auburn: A growing hub of local shops and our partner bakery
