I had a really nice stay here in the house. It was beautiful inside and outside. Originally there was a hiccup at the beginning, apparently someone else had booked over my booking dates on another platform, and my booking was cancelled before it by chance opened up again to book. So I paid to cancel my other booking. Also, my car left ruts in the gravel driveway and I got wrongly accused of doing "wheelies" in the driveway which never happened. So, overall it was a great place to stay with some unfortunate issues at the beginning and end.

Driveway has been repaired at my expense. No charge for me canceling due to overbooking and issue was resolved. My cottage is taken care of with pride. As guest mentioned interior and exterior are beautiful.

This was a beautiful place. It is exactly as pictured and our stay was wonderful. We brought our boat and fished the bay. There was room to park the boat trailer at the house. The hosts were easy to get up with and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay! Would recommend this place to anyone. The back porch and dock on the water were our favorite!

Alabama native and have lived elsewhere but this is the best place on earth. Welcoming and warm… no place like it! This is a historic cottage that has undergone updating but yet kept all the history. Art abounds these walls and every update has kept the character in check. Everyone should feel this good and this place certainly helps you do just that.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is a little slice of heaven. Quiet, peaceful and so close to everything. Water views and tranquil sounds.activities for everyone and yet the perfect place to just sit back and enjoy!

What makes this property unique

This cottage is on a quiet canal water front but close to Fairhope and everything Foley has to offer. Kayak in the morning and cook something great on the outdoor patio to end the day. Build a fire in the fire pit or fish off the dock…so much to do and yet so very relaxing.
