Lovely spot for a cozy winter getaway. It was comfortable, the furnishings were stylish and functional, and the kitchen was well-appointed. We found plenty to do in small towns nearby and also enjoyed peace and quiet at the cottage.

Thank you for a stay at the Lily Belle Villa. This cottage was a great location for our southwest Michigan weekend. Decorated in a a beachy Scandinavian style, we found what we needed for our stay (many towels, kitchen supplies, extra blankets). However, we were disappointed in a few things. First, the pictures online are somewhat deceiving. It appears that there is a master bedroom and a bedroom with two bunk beds. In reality, these rooms are flipped with only one set of bunk beds. The skylights in the bedrooms are very bright as well, which makes sleeping for children tough. All that would actually be ok if the home was clean. This was definitely lacking. It needs a deep, bleaching clean and vacuum to remove the human and animal hair that we found everywhere including on the bedsheets. Similarly, we found many dirty dishes when we pulled them out to use. While the home is cute and the location is great, the cleanliness cannot be tolerated so we wouldn't stay again sadly. With those improvements, we would bring our star rating up.

Great stay for our family!

We stayed at this cottage for 5 nights. The cottage was so cute and homey and perfect for our family of 5. We loved the decor and it was so nice to have a fully stocked kitchen. This place is in a great location to easily visit anywhere from New Buffalo to St Joe. We loved the privacy at this home. The backyard is huge and filled with beautiful trees/forest. Thanks for a great stay!

The perfect cottage

Beautifully decorated and stocked with supplies, my family of four had a perfect getaway here. The large yard offered a place for my kids to run and explore and we took a trip to warren dunes just down the road for some more exercise. Thank you for a great stay!

Charming getaway

This darling house was perfect for our 3 day fall break trip. The yard was great for our kids while we sat by the fire pit with drinks. I enjoyed daily porch naps. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed!
