Escape to Delaware Coast in this spacious two-story 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath end townhome in The Village at Bear Trap Dunes! Featuring lots of new furnishings throughout, this golf resort getaway's first floor is home to the living and dining area, updated well-equipped kitchen (with custom granite countertops), open den, half bathroom and a master suite, as well as the screened porch and open deck. The top floor features a full bathroom (shared by Bedrooms 3 and 4) and the remaining three bedrooms, including a second floor master suite. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 4 flat-screen TVs, gas fireplace, Wifi. Notes: Garage is available for storage only - not for parking. The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant. Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion. The pools are located at the community pavilion. (The pool located on October Glory is for owner use only.) *Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. This was a nice place with plenty of room for 6 people. It’s in ocean view which is great because Bethany and Fenwick are both very close. Dewey and rehoboth are about 20 to 25 min away. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful and we had about 4 great beach days.The cons:I didnt like that they wanted to charge 65 a person to be able to use the amenities like the community pools, gym, sauna and game room for the week. I’m already paying thousands of dollars to rent the place. It should be included.I also didn’t like that all the floors were very dirty and we had to clean them. Couldn’t vacuum because the plug was broken and when I reached to to vuestay all I got was text messages saying they were going to let someone know. They never came to fix it.

We're glad the space gave your group of six plenty of room, that the ocean view spot put you within easy reach of Bethany and Fenwick, and that you landed four great beach days on a relaxing week. We're sorry the floors weren't up to standard on arrival, and that the broken vacuum plug left you without a proper way to clean them. That falls short of what we aim for, and we've shared it with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to look into. Regarding the community amenities, the pools, gym, sauna, and game room are managed by the resort, and that per-person fee is set by them rather than by us. We list it upfront so guests can factor it in before booking, and we're sorry it came as an unwelcome surprise here. We'd love to host you again whenever your travels bring you back to the shore.
