You can also enjoy the lake views from above in the rockers on the catwalk.
The well appointed kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals that you can enjoy in the adjacent dining room or outside at the picnic table on the deck. The spacious 40' deck has a propane grill for the outdoor chef and plenty of seating around the tabletop firepit to relax with a glass of wine at night while enjoying the stars above or making delicious s'mores with the kids.
A private sandy beach with a dock is right out front and has two kayaks, two canoes and a stand up paddle board to enjoy your time on the lake. Life jackets and beach chairs are also provided. Whether you enjoy swimming, fishing or just relaxing by the water and taking in the beauty of nature that surrounds you, it's all there.
We allow up to two dogs during your stay (extra fee required) and they must be well behaved and housebroken. Guests are required to clean up after their pets, inside and out. There is a designated scooper and receptacle provided.
Our house is located 20 minutes north of the town of Ellsworth, where you can find everything you need for your stay, grocery stores, restaurants, Walmart, Reny's, LL Bean outlet and more. This is the perfect home base for those looking to explore small town charm or an escape to Acadia National Park and Maine's Bold Coast.
Some popular restaurants to try are Union River Lobster Pot, Ruth & Wimpys, and Jordan's Snack Bar. Top off the day with a visit to Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar for a cone! And your vacation is not complete without a stop in Gouldsboro at Bartlett Maine Estate Winery, you will never look at blueberries the same again!
