This house was a beautiful, peaceful place for my husband, myself and another couple to stay for five nights. We brought enough food to have breakfast and lunch there and went to Five Islands Lobster 4 out of five nights for supper(5 minutes away by car) Grey Haven Inn is right next door (walking distance) so we also went there one night for supper. It was really a great getaway!
A view from the deck!

Everything was amazing, it was hard to leave.

Everything from the view to the home to the comfy furnishings was perfect for our family trip. There was so much beautiful and interesting artwork withing the home. We found some very fun adventures within the area, from Reid State Park to some of the local oyster farms. I highly recommend, it was a great stay.

The bathroom setup was not ideal but it worked for the time being if there was more than 4 people I would say it would not be ideal. The view was amazing and very much worth it.

Wow, what an amazing place. Everything from the breathtaking views to the beautifully retrofitted interior, this property does not disappoint. A true haven to unplug, soak in the beauty of Maines coastline and disconnect from the everyday. We will definitely be back many times. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful vacation staying at Seguinlandia! The house was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and every detail provided. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful view, the peace and the nature. We walked down to the rocky beach, relaxed in the hammock, appreciated the music choices of your record album and cd collections, as well as your library of books. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home. We had a perfect vacation and hope to return next summer.

Beautiful Oceanfront Property

The cottage feels like it was deigned and built for this location. A beautiful new deck that surrounds the dining room, living room and master bedroom, gives you sweeping views of Harmon's Harbor and beyond. Large window areas in all three rooms take full advantage of the panoramic view. A very special place.

The best!

I’d give 10 stars if I could; Seguinlandia exceeding our expectations in every way. It was the perfect, peaceful spot for our family of four (two adults + two teens). The view was stunning; the house was so clean and comfortable; and we really appreciated all the thoughtful extras like the park pass and record player and hammocks. And we loved the art and learning about the artist. Thank you for sharing this special place with us.

Lovely house and location

We had a great stay and can't wait to come back. Location was perfect launching spot for day trips. We really appreciated the State Park pass, beach towels, chairs and umbrella. Went to the park several times since it was so convenient and free! This house had some of the nicest amenities of any rental that we have stayed at. The nice dishes, extra supplies, comfy furniture, nice cooking supplies, lovely art and beautiful touches were enjoyed. The views were spectacular!! The water access is very Maine! Lots of stairs down to rocky seaweed coast. Loved the little waterfall on the way down, and the sound of the waves crashing on the cliff walls at high tide. We hope to return soon.

A treat for the senses

We stayed for a couple of nights in early September. It was lovely. The view is breathtaking and impossible to capture in photographs. We’ve never seen so many stars at night. The sound of the ocean changes with the tides, but it’s always there in some form, producing a sense of awe and relaxation. Like a hammock for your whole being.

Seguinlandia

The house feels much smaller than the pictures represent. It was a little tight for 3 couples with only one full bath. The views from the living area and deck are amazing! The access down to the water was disappointing.

Thank you for your review, Kristina. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed our home but we're very sorry for the access to the water. We appreciate your feedback and we will use this as a learning experience. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you again very soon!

This vacation rental is practically perfect!

I agree with other reviewers about the specialness of this beautiful and recently renovated property. The location high on a bluff, overlooking the harbor and the ocean, can't be beat. The wraparound deck is stunning. The one drawback for us (a party of four, two married couples) was the bathroom situation. It was nice having one full bathroom and one half bath, but they were connected by a very flimsy door. The result is that you could hear everything from one bathroom to the other. Plus, puzzlingly, there were no locks on any of the bathroom doors. The lack of privacy bothered at least one member of our party. You can evaluate it for yourself! Other than this, we loved the house.
