About this property

Nestled at the edge of the woods just outside downtown Bath, this two-story home makes a wonderful base for your explorations of Midcoast Maine. Enjoy forest views throughout the house and a sun-dappled screened porch that's perfect for breakfast on a summer morning.
This tree-lined home is beautifully secluded on three acres west of Bath, a charming town famous for its rich shipbuilding history. The Bath Historic District sits one mile east along the Kennebec waterfront, featuring some of the best restaurants, bakeries, and boutiques on the Midcoast. The Maine Maritime Museum is also within a three-mile drive.
Meadowhawk Haven offers easy access to all sorts of summer adventures, equidistant from Portland fine dining and Boothbay sailing. You'll be two miles from Thorne Head Preserve; five miles from Thomas Point Beach; 12 miles from Wiscasset; 17 miles from Popham Beach, Reid State Park, and Harpswell; less than 50 miles from Rockland and Camden; and 118 miles from Acadia National Park. Kayak and paddleboard rentals can be found in multiple locations nearby.
Furnished with comfortably chic, mid-century-eclectic decor, this inviting woodland home provides generous space for gathering. There's a large living room where you can entertain your loved ones at the grand piano, as well as a family room with a soft sectional, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling views of the forest. Prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen and sit down to enjoy them at the bistro table, in the formal dining room, or outside on the screened porch. The moss-covered backyard acts as a busy thoroughfare for fox, raccoons, turtles, red squirrels, songbirds, and deer, and towering fir trees keep the property refreshingly cool inside and out.
After a summer day of outdoor adventures, cap the evening with board games in the dining room or sink into the Room & Board sectional to stream your favorite shows. When it's time to turn in, there are four bedrooms to choose from (including three with AC). The primary suite and one guest room are on the first floor with two more bedrooms upstairs.
