Gorgeous house and property. Spectaclar views from every room and deck. Remote location so be prepared to drive for food. Island is lovely for long walks. Highly recommend.
Quiet, spacious, luxurious and well maintained. The layout of the house is fantastic for two couples with bedrooms at opposite ends of the property and a large gathering are in the center with plenty of comfortable seating. The home was more stocked than claimed, which was nice, with loads of spices and amenities for home cooked meals: loved the restaurant quality kitchen!! The location is somewhat remote which is what we wanted plus we were already familiar with the area. The remoteness draws in new homeowners which was the only real downfall because there was construction noise echoing about from two construction projects 'somewhere' nearby. I say somewhere because you could only hear it but not see it. Eventually that will end and is no fault of the owners. It was tolerable and only lasted from 8-5, generally. The door locks on this home are conducive to accidentally locking yourself out of the house which we very nearly did on the night of arrival!! BE WARNED. We found the best preventive solution was to keep the door key outside in the lockbox in case we did possibly get locked out. I have to imagine that guests routinely get locked out! The only possible negative that we all agreed was that the bed pillows were absolutely chincy. They did not match the quality of anything else in the house. Trash pickup was a big problem. The property management company was below average with poor communication, BTW- a drip coffee make w/ cone shaped filters is the home.
