Complimentary firewood is provided as a courtesy as well as camping chairs which are stored in the large orange wood box under the lean to. Cell phone reception is great at the cabin, but can be spotty throughout the village.
A short drive (or hike) down the hill will take you to the National Forest and it's trails with wildlife, streams and lakes in all directions. In town there are several shops, restaurants, ATV rentals and a gas station. Cedar Mountain True Value general store has the basics and is located at 76 Movie Ranch Rd. Cabin is situated about midway between Zion & Bryce national canyons. There is parking for up to 3 vehicles on the property. Four outdoor cameras are located on the property. Cars can make the drive no problem but be aware the roads in Duck Creek are not paved and are dirt & gravel. Not recommended for small children due to accessible cleaning products, sharp utensils and steep hills.
Guest access PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE APPROACHING THE "FRONT" DOOR (which is actually located around the back of the property). There will be an electronic keypad, not a combo lock.
Other things to note: Fishing poles and a small tackle box (located in the top drawer of the dresser) are available for your enjoyment. True Value has everything else you might need to catch a big one!
