This was our second stay at Runaway bay and first time in a ground floor condo and we enjoyed to skip the stairs! The whole complex got damaged in a hurricane two years ago. Therefore, the ground floor condos as well as the salt water pool are both newly renovated. The condo had the perfect size for our family of 4 and everything was in great condition. The showers were amazing and the condo has a very nicely equipped kitchen. There were lots of board games in the closet, also lots of towels and beach towels, but no beach wagon or beach chairs/umbrellas. So be sure to bring those. We enjoyed having dinner "at home" on most nights with the kids. The private beach access is only a short walk across the street and if you feel neither like cooking nor driving there is a very good casual barbecue place in short walking distance, too. Check in and communication with the host went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again!
