For an older home, this property was amazingly clean. There were only two of us, but a bigger group would still have room to spread out. The downstairs shower was nice and large. But the most amazing thing was how comfortable the beds were. I got the best sleep I've had in decades during our first night there. If our purpose hadn't been to visit Acadia, we would have lingered longer. We were mostly only there long enough to sleep and get ready for the next day, so we really didn't use the kitchen. Take a drive to Brooklin to catch a great view of the sunset.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Property description did not mention that a very busy coffee shop was 10’ away and the garden area in front of the house is actually the sitting area for the coffee shop. There is a lot of road noise.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Bucklyn Coffee is a popular and well-loved part of our village location, but we understand that its proximity and the use of the garden area for café seating should have been more clearly described. We also recognize that our convenient in-town location comes with road noise that may not suit every guest. We have updated our listing to make both of these points more explicit so future guests can make an informed choice when booking.
The place was very clean. We had no issues with that. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. It looks just like the photos. We left early each day so the coffee shop and then street noise did not bother us that I've seen listed in other people's comments. The pricing was a little bit confusing as I normally use Airbnb, I wasn't notified about extra people charge and how much it would be and after how many people until my second charge actually went through. I'm not sure who's really at fault for that but it is very confusing.
