The Lazy River Lodge - Float, Fish & Relax on the Chippewa
Welcome to The Lazy River Lodge — your peaceful riverfront escape on a quiet stretch of the Chippewa River. Nestled among the trees featuring a long, flat shoreline frontage, with a newly refreshed shoreline. This cabin is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods.
Spend your days floating the gentle river in tubes or kayaks - fishing or simply relaxing on the water. The shallow, narrow section of river in front of the cabin creates a calm, family-friendly atmosphere that’s perfect for wading, paddling, and making memories outdoors. The cabin is also located near hundreds of miles of ATV and snowmobile trails for some recreational enjoyment.
Inside you’ll find a fully furnished and thoughtfully stocked space with everything you need for a comfortable stay — whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, family vacation, hunting trip, or annual gathering with friends, we have you covered. The cabin comfortably sleeps 8 adults across 3 bedrooms, including a cozy king loft suite overlooking the property. An additional sofa is also provided with room for air mattresses and kid beds.
Outside, enjoy morning coffee on the wraparound porch, grill and dine on the deck facing the river, or unwind around the campfire under the stars. Guests also have access to a canoe, paddle boat and kayak for exploring the peaceful water right outside the door. Dog friendly for an additional fee.
