We had a great stay at the house. We appreciated the location in a smaller town. The space was great, with lots of places to hang out in the evenings. The host was extremely responsive to messages and addressed any needs immediately.

It’s a big house, very clean, well-equipped and comfortable with a big kitchen, big yard, great back deck, firepit and hot tub. The location is quiet and away from the busy tourist areas. We enjoyed our stay. The host is quick to respond to messages with excellent service. The shared part of the driveway is the only real negative, something to watch out for driving in, as it has ruts that you might bottom out on if you are not careful. My Subaru had no problems with it but my guest’s Prius did.

Spacious and gracious!

The location of this property is ideal for visiting Bass lighthouse, taking in various hikes, visiting unassuming Southwest Harbor! The property is large, with plenty of living space, inside and out. The big kitchen has a sweet breakfast nook which overlooks the deck, while the dining room would be perfect for a lobster feed. Outdoors, the jacuzzi is private, and away from the fire pit where we could star gaze, given the wide open vistas. The garage was an extra treat, as it kept us from being drenched when one of the rain bursts descended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was, without question, the best Vrbo we’ve ever stayed in.The house is beautiful, spacious, spotless, and filled with natural light. The décor is warm and welcoming, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, there were plenty of towels and linens, and the multiple spacious bathrooms made getting ready so easy. The kitchen quickly became our gathering place each morning. We loved enjoying breakfast together with the delicious local coffee that was provided. In the evenings, we relaxed in the living room and watched movies together. The snacks and coffee were such a thoughtful touch, and checkout was simple and stress-free.The property itself is peaceful and private. We enjoyed the deck and backyard, the kids spent time in the hot tub, and we appreciated having beach chairs available for trips to the nearby beaches. The location was perfect for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. We spent our days hiking, sea kayaking, and discovering the local area. Every evening we enjoyed wonderful restaurants, some within walking distance and others just a short drive away. We especially loved the incredible local blueberry treats—from blueberry lattes and muffins to blueberry cheesecake, soda, and even baked Brie with blueberries. One of our favorite meals was at Café Drydock, where we sampled lobster prepared
