Overall an excellent experience with just one comment regarding privacy. We moved one couch to create a horseshoe of seating for family time and received a message from our host to be sure to replace all furniture to its original location.... hmmmm.Of course we planned to move the couch back and did along with leaving the home in the beautiful condition that we found it, however think its worth sharing that our furniture move was somehow observed.

Great property, great location, easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia national Park. The upstairs bedroom, which faces the busy road, which is busy all night, is extremely noisy. If anyone is renting and will need to use that room, they should be aware that it might be even noisier than indicated in the hosts description. All the other bedrooms are very quiet. In the photos, it is the room that has a queen bed and two twin beds.

Communication was wonderful. Plenty of beds and space for our group of 8. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Everyone agreed that the beds were very comfortable and the steam option in the shower after a day of hiking was a bonus. We had a wonderful stay and close to everything we wanted to see and do.
