Quinta Ixchel features three private accommodations: the Front Villa, Suite #1 and Suite #2 to sleep up to 6 people. Thoughtfully designed with modern finishes and comfortable amenities, each space offers the perfect setting for a relaxing and unforgettable stay.

The Original Villa is a charming and thoughtfully decorated studio retreat with one of the best locations on the property. Just steps from the pool and ocean, this cozy villa overlooks the pool. While it is the smallest of the three units, it provides everything needed for a comfortable island getaway, including a king-size bed, Smart TV, WiFi, air conditioning, and a bright, inviting atmosphere ideal for couples or solo travelers. The kitchenette features granite countertops, a two-burner cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker, and all the essentials for simple meals and morning coffee.

Suite #1 is a newly built luxury apartment featuring modern finishes, thoughtful design, and spacious accommodations. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator with ice maker, oven and 4 burner glass electric cooktop, large living room, separate bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed, refreshing shower, a workspace desk in the living room, and TVs in the living room and bedroom. There is also a private patio facing the lagoon, as well as a patio facing the tropical garden courtyard on the inside of the property.

Suite #2 offers the same elevated comfort and style, featuring a fully equipped kitchen including an oven and a 2-burner glass electric stove top, inviting living room, Smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom, separate king bedroom, modern bathroom with shower and toilet, and access to the rooftop terrace overlooking Isla Mujeres. There is a workspace desk in the bedroom.

All apartments feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, Smart TVs, WiFi, safes, abundant natural light, and serene living spaces designed for relaxation after a day of exploring the island. They fully furnished kitchens all include utensils, cookware, purified water, complimentary coffee, creamer, and sugar.

Guests also have access to our private dock and palapa overlooking the beautiful Makax Lagoon — an ideal setting for morning coffee, sunset drinks, or peaceful moments over the water.

The property includes a private pool with a palapa and one of the few private beach areas on the island, allowing guests to enjoy the ocean in a peaceful and secluded setting. The views from the patios are truly remarkable, and the water is only steps away.

The Quinta Ixchel main house is located on the same property, where the owner occasionally stays and is always happy to share local recommendations and island advice. The guest pool remains private for visitors staying in the rental units. Also on-site are our wonderful caretakers, Poli and Gladys, who lovingly maintain the grounds, beach, and pool. Their presence adds warmth, security, and exceptional care to the property.

Located in the quiet and highly desirable Sac Bajo neighborhood, Quinta Ixchel offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Guests can easily catch a taxi directly in front of the property for a short ride into downtown Isla Mujeres, where you’ll find incredible restaurants, charming shops, beach bars, live music, and vibrant island nightlife.

Most guests choose to explore Isla Mujeres by golf cart, making it easy and fun to reach any part of the island within minutes.
