Great Apartment in a very central location

Very clean apartment in a very central location. Buses stop nearby and you can walk to all the restaurants and the local beach.

we arrived at the property, could not get access to the property. After 1 hour searching for someone too contact, I finally managed to get a hold of the owner, Ursula. She was in Switzerland, It was a bad line and we had language problems so the communication was limited. Ursula said she had not received our passport copies that I had sent by email via vrbo. I told her I would send them again immediately which I did. I waited and 20 minutes later got an email saying Ursula had cancelled our reservation leaving us totally homeless in madeira. there was absolutely no other accommodation in Funchal we could afford for the dates of our stay. We slept for 6 nights on the concrete walkway near the beach before I finally found a place to stay for the rest of our vacation.... Yes I got refunded... But this was/is totally unacceptable behaviour from the owner. Other travellers need to be aware of this. This is a BIG RED FLAG to others who have dealings with Ursula

Parfait !

Appartement propre, spacieux, très bien situé et hôte très sympathique et réactive. Arrivée et départ facilités par une boîte à clé. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je recommande !

Der Urlaub auf Madeira war toll. Die Wohnung von Frau Stiemerling, direkt in der Altstadt, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. In der Wohnung fehlte es uns an nichts. 2 Schlafzimmer, 1 großes und 1 kleines, 2 Bädern, 1 großes und ein kleines, ein schönes großes Wohnzimmer und eine Küche, ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Backofen , Toaster, genügend Geschirr, es war alles da. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal recht herzlich bei Frau Stiemerling.
