The Cabin The cabin features a bright, open floor plan that brings in plenty of natural light and creates a comfortable space to relax after a day of adventure. Step outside onto the spacious deck, the perfect place to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and watch for wildlife.
Inside, you’ll find an updated kitchen and bathroom, along with everything you need for a comfortable stay. On cooler Alaska evenings, guests can relax by the cozy wood stove.
Sleeping arrangements include: • Master bedroom with a queen bed • Loft area with three full-size beds • Two Pull-out couches in the living area for additional guests
The cabin also includes a washer and dryer, making it convenient for longer stays or after a day of fishing or outdoor activities.

From this location, you’ll be close to several legendary rivers and coastal fishing towns: • Kenai River – 3 miles Famous for trophy-sized salmon and some of the best sport fishing in Alaska. • Kasilof River – short drive A great spot for catching King Salmon and Dolly Varden in a more relaxed setting. • Homer – 1.5 hours away Known as the “Halibut Fishing Capital of the World.” Charter a boat and experience incredible saltwater fishing on Kachemak Bay. • Seward – 2 hours away Perfect for a day trip to take a glacier cruise, go whale watching, or explore the stunning wildlife and scenery of Resurrection Bay.

Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin and property. This includes all bedrooms, bathroom, full kitchen, living areas, and outdoor space. There is ample parking for multiple vehicles and boats/trailers. Guests may use the large chest freezer for fish storage.
The property is self-check-in for convenience. Please note there is one bathroom. Nearby access to the Kenai River, Kasilof River, and Crooked Creek makes this an ideal basecamp for fishing trips.
Other things to note Our friend Jim will be parking his RV on the front of property away from the cabin. Jim has been coming to Alaska to salmon fish since the 1970’s and spends 4 months a year fishing daily-my personal dream. He’s a great resource if you have any fishing or area related questions and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Large chest freezer (7 cu ft.) available for fish storage. A filet knife, vacuum sealer and dedicated cleaning area are also available. Please bring freezer bags if planning to process fish. No fish cleaning inside the cabin. Please use outdoor areas and clean up after use.
Cabin is on the smaller side, 700 sq ft, but the layout is efficient and just about everything has been updated. It’s perfect for our family of 5. Beds are really comfortable & the pull out couches are doable. A white noise machine is located downstairs which helps us for bedtime.
Cell service can vary depending on carrier. Wi-Fi is provided. Summers have long daylight hours. Winters may include snow and icy conditions; 4WD/AWD recommended.
